The human body is a great machine, built to run efficiently on the ideal blend of food, water, and exercise. Unfortunately for us today, our bodies are mostly tricked into running on empty by the food and beverage industry. Sugary drinks contain unnecessary calories that the body has difficulty regulating; sugary sports drinks provide little in terms of hydration; tea and coffee offer little in terms of hydration, and alcohol dehydrates you as much as it hydrates you.

People agree that processed foods are more convenient and less time-consuming to prepare than whole, natural foods. However, most people are unaware that processed foods may contain a lot of sugar and fat.
