We’re looking for another PT to join us.

The way we practice is simple — one person at a time, enough space to listen, and care that’s built on trust instead of productivity numbers. Our space is relaxed and supportive, and you’ll work with a wide range of people — from neuro and post-op rehab to high performers chasing big goals.

Flexible schedule, but what matters most to us is who you are and how you care.

If this sounds like the kind of place you’ve been hoping to find, we’d love to meet you.

Send your resume to admin@dangpt.com

Brooks Glycerin vs. Vaporfly—same goal, very different tools.

The Glycerin is a neutral, forgiving daily trainer.

Stable platform, appropriate arch support, and a more manageable drop—great for beginner marathon runners building volume, tissue tolerance, and control.

The Vaporfly is highly propulsive by design.
Amazing for race day when you can control it—but that rebound by the carbon plates demands strong deceleration, stiffness management, and load acceptance. Without that? The shoe can outpace the body and shift stress upstream to the calves, Achilles, knees.

Train in the shoe that lets you absorb before you propel. Are you ready for carbon plated shoes?

To live and try in LA 🌴

Mama Dang & Tony shared stories of building a life in Chinatown during the .us panel for It’s Okay to Try, Issue 002. Stories about showing up, staying rooted, and taking care of one another.

Every Monday–Friday at 7am, Mama Dang leads a dance aerobics class at Alpine Recreation Center. It’s a place for movement, laughter, connection, and culture. A place where community is built through consistency and care.

Watching his mom give her time and energy to help others is what inspired Dang Physical Therapy—to offer the same sense of support, access, and belonging through movement and healing.

As we approach Lunar New Year 🧧, the Year of the Horse reminds us that growth and real breakthroughs come from courage and heart. To honor that, we’re releasing a shirt in support of Alpine Recreation Center.

Pre-orders open this Friday. A portion of proceeds will be donated back to the center.

Ever wonder why two people can do the same exercise but feel it in completely different places?

If you took a room of 20 people doing the same movement, chances are each person is using totally different muscle groups — and at different intensities. Our bodies have mastered finding a way to complete a task, even if it’s not the most efficient way.

Rehab is strength training with more attention to detail — teaching your body how to access the right muscles, in the right sequence.

Our job as physical therapists is to take the guessing out of the equation — guiding people toward better movement patterns that actually carry over to how they move and feel in daily life.

This clip shows the second set of the same exercise — feeling completely different once we added verbal and tactile cueing to refine his movement pattern.
