Nadia Ramsaran

Nadia Ramsaran Hey there! I am the heart, mind, and soul of Mindful Mama Wellness and I'm always so excited to welcome moms in my lovely community. Welcome to the family, mama!

I’m Nadia, a Mindset Coach based in California, and I help new moms and moms-to-be like you to be purposefully present, discover a deeper connection with yourself and the people you love, and to intentionally self care. This pandemic has made it even more difficult for new mothers with the lack of tangible help and support of family and friends. It has limit whatever help we can receive in our daily struggles as mothers. I don't meant the lack of support to be an attack to your family and friends. The pandemic just put us in a situation we cannot control. Even if family members wants to visit and extend a bit of help, it can be hard on their part too. Because I experienced these all too well, I decided to build Mindful Mama Wellness. If you're feeling so at loss of love and support, Mindful Mama Wellness has a place for you. So join me and other moms in our community as we experience more authentic and deeper connections with ourselves and our children.

You don’t need to make January mean more than it does.

If this month felt slower, heavier, or more emotional than you expected, that doesn’t mean you did something wrong.

You don’t need to catch up.
You don’t need to prove that you’re motivated enough or doing enough.

What you noticed about yourself this month matters.
What felt hard matters.
What you didn’t have the capacity for matters too.

You’re allowed to carry forward what supported you and leave the rest behind.

You can keep going from exactly where you are with more compassion than pressure.

This is your sign to set more realistic goals this new year!

Realistic goals support your energy, your capacity, and whatever season of motherhood you’re in right now. Small, consistent care adds up especially when the goal is sustainability, not perfection.

This season deserves that kind of intention.

What if this year isn’t about pushing harder, but about listening more closely?

Motherhood shifts your capacity, your priorities, and your energy. And that matters. Goals don’t have to ignore your reality to be meaningful.

This year, you’re allowed to set goals that honor where you are and not where you THINK you should be.

Happy New Year mommas✨ this is just a reminder that a new year doesn’t have to mean more pressure, more expectations, or more ways to “get it right.”

It can mean more compassion.
More honesty about what you need.
More permission to move at your own pace.

As this year begins, may you choose support over stress and care over comparison.

If today feels joyful, overwhelming, or a mix of both, you’re doing exactly what a good mom does: showing up with the energy you have.

Wishing you a gentle, cozy, grace-filled Christmas!

The best gifts aren’t the prettiest… they’re the ones that lighten her load, give her a breath, or remind her she’s still a whole person in this new season.

✨ Save this for yourself, your friends, or someone who needs ideas.

✨ And if you’re a new mom reading this ... you deserve every ounce of care, love, and support.

The holidays can be a lot especially for baby’s nervous systems and for yours.

If your baby is extra clingy, melting down faster, or harder to settle, you’re not doing anything wrong… they’re simply overwhelmed.

And if you feel overstimulated or your nerves feel fried, there’s nothing wrong with you either. Moms process constant noise, expectations, and physical contact every minute. It adds up.

Here’s your reminder:
✨ Step outside
✨ Lower the volume
✨ Keep visits short
✨ Honor your own limits as much as your baby’s

You don’t have to “push through” to be a good mom.
You just have to do what supports both of you. 🤍

Healing isn’t just something I talk about in my sessions, but something I practice too. This season has been full! From managing a practice to being a mom of 2 and loving on my family I am deeply grateful for it all.
But if I’m honest, being busy can make it easy to forget that I still need time to breathe, too.

I remind my clients (and myself) often that you can be grateful and need rest. You can love your work, your people, and your purpose, and still need quiet moments that belong just to you.

Tonight, that looked like an evening session of yoga. I encourage you to be intentional and find time for yourself in your busy season. 💗

Sometimes strength looks like smiling through it.
But other times, it looks like finally admitting “I’m not okay.”

You don’t have to carry everything quietly or handle it all alone.

If you’re ready to stop pretending and start feeling supported, therapy can help you find your way back to yourself.

Hey, mama can we talk about something?

So many of the moms I work with are carrying this invisible pressure to constantly be more.

More patient.
More productive.
More “together.”

But what if motherhood wasn’t about who you’re trying to become… and more about how you actually feel in the life you already have?

I recommend you start with one simple question:
“How do I want to feel today?”

That question alone can shift everything.

When I became a mom, I thought I had prepared myself. I had read the books, listened to the advice, and leaned on my training as a therapist. But nothing prepared me for the exhaustion, the tears at 2am, or the way my identity shifted overnight.

I remember feeling like I should be able to handle it all, yet inside I was struggling. That experience changed me, not just as a mother, but as a therapist. It gave me a deeper understanding of what postpartum really feels like: the invisible weight, the doubts, and the longing for someone to say, “I get it.”

That’s why I do this work now. Not to tell you what to do, but to sit with you in the messiness, to hold space for your healing, and to remind you you don’t have to do this alone.

You deserve support! When you’re ready, my DMs are open 💕
