As I was leaving for the day, I paused and witnessed a quiet, meaningful moment…our Administrator sitting beside a resident, singing along to ease her worries and meeting her with patience, presence, and love.
This is what it means to truly lead with heart.
Leadership does need to be loud. These are the moments that set the tone for who we are and how we show up for those we serve.

Today I’m sharing a special moment from my brother singing this timeless reminder. At Silverado Beverly Place, we see every day how music can lift spirits, unlock memories, and bring us together in the most meaningful ways.

If you walked into Silverado Beverly Place on Fat Tuesday, you would’ve thought you were on Bourbon Street.

Beads. Music. Laughter. Residents dancing. Staff cheering.

But here’s the real magic…it’s not just about the party. It’s about the people behind it.

Resident Engagement, Culinary, Maintenance, Housekeeping, and our incredible caregivers all pulling together to make sure our residents felt included, celebrated, and joyful.

It takes a strong team of leaders and an amazing Administrator who supports creativity and growth to pull off events month after month. And this team? They show up every.single.time.

This past Thursday at Silverado Beverly Place, you could just feel the love.

It wasn’t over-the-top or fancy — just a simple gathering. Friends sitting close to one another. Laughter around the tables. Singing along to favorite songs like they’ve done a hundred times before.

These are the moments that matter. The simple ones. The together ones.

Valentine’s Day may come once a year, but the way we care for each other here? That’s every single day.
