We were honored to welcome Councilman Traci Park to Ciela for a special happy hour event with our community. We had the opportunity to thank her for the critical role her office played in our swift return home. Ciela was proud to be the first business to reopen in the Pacific Palisades, and our residents were among the first populate after the fires. We’re grateful for her continued support and leadership

EXCITING ANNOUNCEMENT!! Meet Quoc, Our New Vitality Director. He has been in the health and fitness industry since 2003. He started as UCLA personal fitness training coordinator and later worked as a tier 3+ trainer at Equinox fitness. A back injury led him to explore more prehab/rehab, which ignited his past passion for preventative care. He now focuses on longevity and vitality. We are so thrilled to have Quoc a part of our Ciela team!

After the Palisades fire, we’ve witnessed the true power of community- especially here at Ciela. We are proud to say our community is open, thriving, and more united than ever.

We are grateful that our community and many of the homes surrounding us were unaffected by the Palisades Fire. The fire resistive features of the property, including our large concrete retaining wall facing the canyon, stopped the fire as it raced up the hills. Since concrete is entirely noncombustible, the fire could not break through.

Looking forward to getting back to our normal routine and life at Ciela.

We are incredibly appreciative to all our staff and residents who remained resilient these past few weeks. And extra special thanks to LAFD for all their support.

Sharing our deepest gratitude for the LAFD

In the early stages the Palisades fire on Tuesday January 7th, we remained in close contact with local fire captains from Station 23 and 69. Under their advisement we safely sheltered in place fully staffed and prepared for the coming hours. As the fire began to spread to multiple parts of the Palisades, concerns about air quality and accessibility began to mount. We continued to inform our residents of the fire’s progression and gathered their essential supplies in anticipation of potentially worsening conditions.

Around 11:00pm we received an evacuation notice from the fire patrol stationed on Palisades drive. We quickly began executing our evacuation plan with the help of the incredible team at LAFD. We were able to quickly and safely evacuate every resident and member of our team.

None of this would have been possible without the extraordinary efforts from LAFD who worked hand-in-hand with our team to transport everyone safely and calmly. We are incredibly grateful to the Los Angeles fire department for their heroic efforts and service to our community.

Our residents had a wonderful outing to the Getty Villa, where they explored the stunning gardens, admired ancient art, and learned about classical antiquities. The Getty Villa is a unique destination, inspired by a Roman country house, and showcases one of the world’s most comprehensive collections of Greek, Roman, and Etruscan artifacts. It was a day filled with culture, history, and beauty.
