People often ask me if narcissists will ever just grow out of this behavior. While adolescents with narcissistic tendencies might because it’s not diagnosable until adulthood (mid twenties), adult narcissists tend to get worse with age, not better. They also get tired and more transparent. Are you dealing with someone like this in your life?

Narcissists don’t stay in relationships with people they can’t manipulate. If they can’t manipulate you anymore, they will likely devalue you and then discard you. No matter what, be who you are. Don’t stoop to the level of toxic people. But sometimes, being true to yourself sets a boundary that drives them so crazy, it leads their narcissistic collapse. ✨ Not your problem. ✨If you’re dealing with a narcissist in your life, follow me. ✨(While this is not a replacement for therapy etc, I hope to pass along some good info and also entertain you)! 🤓

Smear campaigns suck, and it’s important to realize that sometimes the narcissist drags your name through the dirt just to discredit you so that, just in case you ever speak up about what they did, nobody will listen to you.
