Spent this past weekend diving deep into learning how to instruct 🔥

To me, it’s one of the best tools to efficiently and effectively maintain structural integrity in the body, and it couples VERY well with chiropractic care 🙌

31 brought some of the biggest challenges, as well as some of the most memorable moments of my life.

This past year I experienced the best day of my life, when I married my wife and I also experienced one of the most challenging moments of my life, when we suddenly and tragically lost our dog, Daisy.

Through these experiences, I’ve realized love and gratitude are the best medicine in these moments; they help create a sense of optimism when things are sh*tty. They also create such heightened experiences when things are going amazing in life.

For my 32nd year on this planet, my goal is to continually and consciously choose love and choose gratitude, through the good and the challenging. There’s so much to be grateful for and if there’s a choice, I’d much rather live through love than through hate.

Social media algorithms, advertising, news. They’re all aware of this and are leveraging it for your attention 🙃

If you open yourself up to consume content, you’re allowing your nervous system to be bombarded with signals of STRESS 😣

States of nervous system stress (fight or flight) affects your hormones and your brain function, in a negative sense 🥲

It’s our job to consistently CHOOSE to consume content that’s positive or uplifting, or engaging in activities that nourish the soul 😌

It’s ok to stay informed, but allowing it to change your state of being and your outlook on things can be detrimental to your health 👎

Choose positive affirmations, meditation, conscious, deep breathing, experiencing nature, or anything that shifts your brain and state to a positive one 🙂

Algoritmos de redes sociales, publicidad, noticias… Todos son conscientes de esto y lo están usando para captar tu atención 🙃

Si te abres a consumir contenido, estás permitiendo que tu sistema nervioso sea bombardeado con señales de ESTRÉS 😣

Los estados de estrés en el sistema nervioso (lucha o huida) afectan negativamente tus hormonas y la función de tu cerebro 🥲

Es nuestra responsabilidad ELEGIR conscientemente consumir contenido positivo o inspirador, o realizar actividades que nutran el alma 😌

Many people who first try to meditate, feel like they’re doing it wrong. Even if you think you’re not doing it right, you’re STILL making positive changes to your brain 🙌

If you want an EASY way to get started TRY THIS 👇

- Find a comfortable spot to sit up straight 🧘🏻‍♂️
- Try using headphones with a peaceful meditation track. If you don’t know what to use, try searching for 432hz tracks on your preferred streaming platform. Use a track that won’t be distracting, like one without words 🙂
- With your eyes closed, seated with your posture upright, take a DEEP breath counting up to FOUR seconds, then hold your breath counting to SEVEN seconds, and SLOWLY exhale counting to EIGHT seconds 😮‍💨
- Start slow and set a timer for 7-10 minutes. You can slowly work your way up to longer times like 15, 20, or 25 minutes, but on the beginning, just try and make it a habit rather than going for longer times ⏱️

Si quieres una forma FÁCIL de comenzar, PRUEBA ESTO 👇

- Busca un lugar cómodo para sentarte con la espalda recta 🧘🏻‍♂️
- Usa audífonos con una pista de meditación tranquila. Si no sabes cuál usar, intenta buscar pistas de 432hz en tu plataforma de streaming favorita. Elige una que no sea distracción, como una sin palabras 🙂
- Con los ojos cerrados, sentado con la postura erguida, inhala PROFUNDAMENTE contando hasta CUATRO segundos, luego mantén el aire contando hasta SIETE segundos, y exhala LENTAMENTE contando hasta OCHO segundos 😮‍💨
- Empieza despacio y pon un temporizador de 7 a 10 minutos. Poco a poco puedes aumentar el tiempo a 15, 20 o 25 minutos, pero al principio, simplemente intenta hacerlo un hábito en lugar de preocuparte por meditar más tiempo ⏱️
