A Registered Dietitian with a Masters degree in Nutritional Science, Rachel S. Beller founded the Beller Nutritional Institute in Beverly Hills to translate her clinical research into real-world results. Her areas of expertise includes nutritional oncology, wellness and preventative health, weight management, cardiovascular health and diabetes. Drawing on these specialties, Rachel develops customized, easy-to-follow action plans, recipes and illustrated "BUY THIS" shop guides. This combination of science and straight-talk has made Rachel the go-to nutritionist for Hollywood celebrities, their families, international clients, and people from all walks of life. After receiving her B.A. from UCLA, and her R.D. and M.S. degrees from California State University Los Angeles, Rachel conducted extensive research in the role of nutrition in cancer prevention at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and the John Wayne Cancer Institute. She also served as the John Wayne Cancer Institute's Director of Nutritional Oncology Research and Counseling for a decade. During this time she served as the co-principal investigator in the national Women's Intervention Nutrition Study (WINS), and received awards for research, recruitment and lectureship. Rachel currently serves as a spokesperson for the Amercian Cancer Society, and is significantly involved in community outreach and several major health organizations:

Other media credits include The Today Show, the Style Network, Vogue Magazine, WebMD, the University of Pennsylvania's Penn Appetit, and numerous local and international news outlets. Glamour magazine recently described Rachel as "a genius at designing weight-loss programs that are simple, yet at the same time tell you exactly what to eat and how to succeed... so you know you're not only going to drop a few dress sizes, but you'll do it in a healthy - and, literally, life-affirming - way."

Here’s my best advice — grounded in science and real-life practicality:

→ Prioritize a balanced, whole-food diet.
Focus on plant proteins, fiber-rich foods, and protective fats. These support hormonal balance and help reduce inflammation.

→ Use your spices!
Spices aren’t just flavor boosters — many have powerful anti-cancer properties. Think turmeric, garlic, ginger, cinnamon, cumin and more.

→Get into the rhythm of the simplest form of meal prepping/putting together ready to eat ingredients.
Planning your meals ahead of time helps you stay consistent, eat intentionally, and manage your weight more effectively.

→Move your body — daily.
Walk, join a pilates class, stretch, dance — whatever helps you stay active. Physical activity supports weight management and reduces stress, both crucial for breast cancer risk reduction.

Some nights, cooking just isn’t an option, but that doesn’t mean you have to settle for something boring! My go-to? This delicious spanish riced cauliflower made with spices and a touch of olive oil. To make it a complete meal I add a plant based protein like frozen edamame or peas. A game plan that is simple sure beats ordering take-out.

Low-starch, super tasty, and ridiculously easy.

Sweet Breakfast Lovers, This One’s for You! 🍌

Wake up to fiber-packed breakfast cookies that taste like a treat but fuel your day the right way! These Beller Method-approved cookies are easy to make, freezer-friendly, and perfect for a grab-and-go breakfast or snack.

Ingredients:
2 ripe bananas, mashed
2/3 cup rolled oats (sprouted preferred)
2 tbsp chia seeds or ground flaxseed
2 tbsp protein powder (nut or seed)
1 tsp avocado oil or tahini paste
1 tsp Morning Boost Spice Synergy Blend

Directions:
Preheat oven to 350°F & line a sheet pan with parchment paper.
Mash bananas in a bowl, then mix in all other ingredients.
Shape into 4 large cookies & place on the pan.
Bake for 15–20 min until set. Let cool for 10 min.

Enjoy immediately or freeze for later!
