Many thanks to our rotating medical student for creating this post for us to drop on the very last day of Cervical Cancer Awareness Month 2024.

10+ years of real-world studies have demonstrated an over 85% decrease in high risk cervical cells in populations where the HPV (Gardasil) vaccine was introduced.

The vaccine approved in 2006 has since been expanded to target a total of 9 strains and since 2018, the vaccine has been approved for everyone ages 9-45.

All women should receive the vaccine especially those who are not in a lifelong relationship and anticipate new future partners.

Although the vaccine is not a cure for HPV, it has been shown to offer some reduction in the development of cells that are high risk for cancer. The vaccine also offers protection against the development of ge***al warts.

Immune support vitamins are also available specifically to help the body clear HPV infection.

Younger people are more likely to recover spontaneously from HPV infection, and older people are more likely to form chronic infections especially without the additional support of the HPV vaccine. This difference in age groups is the basis for the variety of screening recommendations.
Consider vaccination and make sure you’re up to date on your Pap smear. .

Your Bloom team is so excited for 2024! We are making so many improvements that we can’t wait to share with you.

A big focus of the year that I will reveal now is our plan to greatly expand our aesthetic services.

I have been increasingly frustrated with the rapidly climbing costs of nearly everything we consume in our daily lives and have also been consistently worried that the recommended pricing of our aesthetic services is well beyond the affordability of a large proportion of our patients.

As the first sign of our commitment to meeting this growing demand for expanded aesthetics, we have abandoned the suggested pricing model for our devices and slashed prices by 35%, leaving them significantly lower than industry and local averages.

We believe in transparency and simplicity and as such any new services we add in the coming months will follow the same pricing model: fixed, firm and fair for all.

We are committed to the health and wellbeing of all of our patients and hope this change will encourage all our patients to feel extra good as they Come Into Bloom.
