Blue Lotus Flower, also known as Blue Egyptian Lotus, has been used as a natural aphrodisiac, sleep aid, and anxiety reliever. Blue Lotus can also bring one a sense of calmness and illicit lucid dreaming.⁣⁣ 🪷⁣⁣⁣

The plant contains the psychoactive alkaloids: apomorphine (can instill a happy and euphoric experience) and nuciferine (induces feelings of calmness). ⁣⁣⁣

Blue Lotus also contains a great amount of antioxidants (flavonoids, quercetin, kaempferol, and myricetin). Antioxidants are great for overall health and fighting free radicals, which can damage some of the body's cells.⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣

Blue Lotus is often confused with Blue Lily, so please be aware, as Blue Lotus is more potent and contains the highest concentration apomorphine and nuciferine. Both Blue Lotus and Blue Lily contain a high amount of these alkaloids though. ⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣
