Because our patient developed a capsular contraction, we operated again 4 months ago and used an ADM (Accelular Dermal Matrix) to prevent the body from reacting to the implant. When you have a capsular contraction, it signifies your body is fighting against the implant, which is why a capsule forms. Since a hard shell forms around the implant with a capsule, we removed the capsule and exchanged her implants with the ADM on top of it so that the implant can be placed softly into its pocket.

This is why I don’t recommend getting plastic surgery abroad because it is harder to see patients for follow ups. Lauren Brooke started getting symptoms months after surgery so it was too late to cure the infection. Avoid going the cheap route!
