Did you know that Moxa has been known to help turn breech babies?⁠⁠

Having a breech baby can bring added stress and complications to pregnancy. Moxibustion also known as Moxa can be used to turn breech babies. It is usually done around 34 weeks around acupuncture point UB 67 which lies at the outer spot of the pinkie toe. ⁠⁠

Moxa is made of a soft woolly substance created from mugwort leaves. The leaves are lit and then held above the skin or placed directly on it above acupuncture points. As the mugwort leaves smolder slowly, a very pleasant and therapeutic heat permeates the skin. ⁠⁠

Cupping therapy might be trendy now, but it’s not new. It dates back to ancient Egyptian, Chinese, and Middle Eastern cultures. One of the oldest medical textbooks in the world, the Ebers Papyrus, describes how the ancient Egyptians used cupping therapy in 1,550 B.C.

Cupping can be used used to treat pain, inflammation, and to increase blood flow, relaxation, and well-being. Have you ever had cupping done?
