Angels of the Earth, a 501 (c)(3) not for profit seeks its spokesperson. You must be good, very good with animals, children and difficult situations under camera keeping it cool, but mostly having fun as “Angels of the Earth,” and “Wildlife Rescue’s” voice and personality.
Our close friend a glamorous pop star is very interested and considering being our spokesperson, as well as putting on sweats to go to wildlife and animal sanctuaries and get grubby and have fun.
You are very friendly and Huel Howser like Q & A, with enthusiasm and curiosity, with a big dose of Steve Erwin thrown in. You are seeking to be a naturalist personality with real animal oriented people, and this is the type of break you seek.
You will Be the nature specialist MC asking the right people the right questions.
Your job is to make the sanctuaries, Angels o.t. Earth and us, look good and expert. If you feel we don’t, review the footage and reshoot it please.
You have the cinematographic sense of camera angle and I will deliver it to you. We’re shooting with a Motorola G Stylus cell phone and a Sony Nex 6, almost no crew, two cars preferred.
The goal is to have fun while creating a rewarding needed California wide rescue network and distressed animal (donation suggested) veterinary laboratories as well as building up “Angels of the Earth’s” donation base and recognition/ branding.
You will also become the face of Angels of the Earth Children’s developmental projects and the third charter, Technology serving Humanity projects.
Our chief first need is to shoot a dozen one minute PSA spots for Angels o.t. Earth and several “Crowd Funding” spots needed to raise donations vital to assist startup. We’re expecting about an hour shoot, on location or scene.
We have several good offers to turnkey and launch our fundraising program at a very reasonable total price. We wish to hire the two groups at the same time for guaranteed effect. We’re guestimating a first step funding goal of 30k, or roughly to cover a year’s basic expenses and first office staff.
We are seeking a driven activist willing to volunteer till we achieve first funding and we can then afford to offer a salary to you and to hire the startup specialists we’re considering at about 3k each maybe more I’m guessing for about a month I expect.
Our founding purpose came from our adopted rescue possum Joey, a not releasable infant. Possum picky, he refused to eat indigenous food and was starving when we found him. Failing Release after being returned to health with good food, we took in the returning mouse sized possum after failing to find a sanctuary that would not euthanize him.
Joey rearranged our lives and had a special effect on almost everyone. We took him everywhere in a soft doggy carrier, only rarely leaving him home alone. With constant human interaction he grew into a wonderful 10 ½ pound little person, who loved to meet everyone, lick to say I love you to a few special people, and be petted and securely held, as possums greatly fear falling.
Joey never bit, nipped or growled over food. His “puppy like” gnawing was easily curtailed: just like a puppy. Though Joey never stopped being a wild animal, he extended his bonding with us, to everyone…who he recognized as extended family, and he could be trusted with being held and petted by even small children.
Joey changed our lives, and his unexpected passing at eighteen months old in December, was shattering personally to us. Channeling grief into action, we founded Angels of the Earth not for profit and the Wildlife Rescue Network project, with no funding or financing, and only occasional help.
