Camp Erin LA combines traditional camp experiences with grief support activities to provide an unforgettable day of hope, healing, and summer fun to kids and teens who are grieving. 💜

We are hosting two separate day-long camp sessions this year. Choose between Saturday, August 24 or Sunday, August 25.

• WHERE •
Camp Erin LA is held at Camp Bob Waldorf located in Glendale, California.

• WHY •
For many kids and teens, Camp Erin LA is the first time they’re able to discuss their grief without shame or stigma. It’s an opportunity for their grief to be seen, supported, and honored in a comforting and uplifting space amongst peers.

OUR HOUSE hosts summer day camps to children and teens experiencing grief. Camp Erin offers an incomparable experience of hope, healing, and summer fun.

Don't miss this! Our incredible friend Alica Forneret of PAUSE is hosting an online workshop called Grief, Death, and Intersectionality this Wednesday, May 21st! Tune in to this highly interactive, engaging, and informative 3-hour workshop to learn how identity impacts the death, dying, and grief experience. Topics include:

• Cultural and systemic blockages between POC clients and mental health support and the mental health system

• “Whole person care” and the constellation of grief and end-of-life support within POC communities

• Grief and other lived experiences tied to identity/race (cultural bereavement, collective grief, etc.)

• Seeking out and making culturally-relevant referrals to honor your personal limits

• Storytelling about first-hand experiences of POC seeking and receiving therapy and grief counseling

Nothing better than some griefy humor on a Saturday night!! Please join our friends at The Clubhouse tomorrow night, May 10th at 9:30pm, for a line-up of incredible comedians who all *get* grief.

In collaboration with This Is The Dinner Party, they'll be raising funds for our grief support programs across Los Angeles! Please spread the word and get your griefy friends all together for a night of comedic catharsis!!!

We're still on a high from this year's absolutely incredible 5K: Walk & Remember!!! Over 1,000 people came together as a community to honor and normalize the journey of grief on April 27, 2025. Our hearts are absolutely bursting from all the love that was shown! To every single person who participated, donated, spread the word, and brought this event to life: THANK YOU! We are so moved by the outpouring of support for our grieving community. 💜

It’s a rare and incredibly precious opportunity to be in a space with hundreds of other people — many of them complete strangers — who are all there to witness one another through the journey of grief. To say we are humbled is an understatement. Thank you for believing in our mission of creating a world where no one walks the path of grief alone.
