Eagle Rock Neighborhood Council

The ERNC is part of the Neighborhood Council system of the City of Los Angeles We also fund or partially fund community projects.

The Eagle Rock Neighborhood Council (ERNC) is an official city organization, staffed with volunteers and given a working budget of $37,000 per year. We consider issues relevant to our community and make recommendations to the City of Los Angeles, City Council and the Mayor. All meetings of the ERNC Board of Directors and its committees are open to the public. There is a public comment period on each agenda item, as well as for non-agenda items you may wish to speak about. These meetings are our chance to hear from you about the issues facing our community, and about things you want us to know. We want to hear from you, so please attend and participate.

-Oak tree cleanup on Townsend (volunteers needed!)

Happy New Year, Eagle Rockers!

And here we are, back with our first meeting of 2026 - tonight at 7p at ER City Hall. Tonight’s agenda includes a ton of interesting topics!

Presentations about:
-Earthquake Bolt & Brace grants
-Livable Communities Initiative
-Climate Superfund Act

We’ll also be discussing:
- a grant for the CA Dance Institute
- NELA Resource Fair for Renters & Unhoused
- Eagle Rock Night Out
- LA City Budget
- Eagle Rock Plaza poll results

Come and check out our fun Sustainability committee tonight, all interested community members are welcome!

We’ll be talking about:

-plans for an upcoming repair café (got skills?)
-our new seed library
-a Spring seminar about injured/orphaned wildlife
-our street trees & how to keep them healthy & properly maintained

if you care about any of these, or any other sustainability issues you’d like to see the committee address, come down to ER City Hall tonight at 6:30!

It’s that wonderful time of the year when it’s chilly outside, but all the twinkly lights, music and community cheer make us feel a little warmer. At the tree lighting tonight from 5-8 at City Hall, you can get your photo taken with Santa, have some hot chocolate or coffee and dance to some great tunes by DJ Manila Sound. We’ll be there too, and Board member Virginia Escamilla will be doing some face painting for the kiddos - stop by our table!

Did you know?

An easy way to get around Eagle Rock for today’s We 🧡 Eagle Rock Small Business Saturday event is our local DASH shuttle. It runs every 20 minutes until approximately 6p (check schedule for exact times) and convenient stops. So much better than worrying about parking or how much holiday “spirit” you might have indulged in!
The fare is $0.50 (cash), or $0.35 with a TAP card. Seniors, Medicare recipients, and riders with disabilities only pay $0.25, or $0.15 with a TAP card. Swipe for schedule and more info about today’s event!

The monthly committee meeting is tonight at ER City Hall, and is open to any ER stakeholder; come check it out and hear about what we’re working on, as well any updates from our Councilmember’s office. You know what LOVES rain?? The plants we’ll be giving away on Sunday! The ground will be nice and saturated, so it’ll be easy to dig and all the little beneficial soil microbes will be awake and looking for something to do 👀

Stop by at ER City Hall (INSIDE, this time) on Sunday 9a-1p (come early for the best selection!) and pick up a couple of carefully-selected native plants for your yard. They attract and support our local pollinators like nothing else! 🐝 🐦

We’ll also have some cool organizations there with more giveaways, some holiday shopping and more. See you there!
