She was the lone on the so I had to take a pic. Who knows what happened to the other before this moment? Had they already bloomed, gotten pollinated, and fallen away? Or was she the first to emerge — braving the ahead of her sisters? Perhaps, after a winter of storms, something causes the tree to only produce a single flower?
It often feels like our “real” work — whatever that is — when the inspiration strikes and channels through us into reality is like the experience of coming upon a bloom like this…magical, mysterious, and slightly frightening…what if it’s the last time? What if it’s the first of a series? What if it’s the only one?
With a water grand trine in the sky for the next 48ish hours, contemplating the cycles of fecundity, emotional honesty (within yourself and with others), vulnerability, intuition, the profundity of our singular and collective existence both in the context of now flowing from the past into the future may come up.
It’s a very yin kind of time ... so best to heed the taoist maxim -- to live in the yin and apply yang conservatively when called to do so.
