The season begins with Paper Alchemy, A Collage Mixed Media Experience, led by popular Ojai artist Mary Neville.

Join a creative gathering led by and taught by for a journey into the unexpected beauty that emerges when color, form, and texture meet. Bring your own letters, ticket stubs, or cherished scraps to infuse your work with meaning. Leave with two finished pieces worthy of your walls and a renewed connection to your creative spirit.

We are delighted to welcome back Ojai mixed-media artist as the first presenter in our Fall Creative Arts Workshop Series!

Join us for Paper Alchemy: A Collage Mixed Media Experience. The morning is dedicated to stepping away from perfection and into pure creative flow. Guided by Mary’s artistic wisdom, you’ll layer paper, paint, and texture into two 8” x 8” wood pannels, weaving in your own meaningful papers to tell your story.

It is not often we take you behind the scenes of a work in progress, but this moment feels too meaningful not to share. Our founder journeyed to India this month to oversee the final details of our 2025 collection of marble swirl leather journals. Each one is a tactile meditation with swirls that feel like emotion made visible.

She stood with artisans at the press, approving design and gold-foiled words like “Stay Wild” and “Rough Draft." These phrases were chosen to bring a certain cheeky vibe to the journals, and remind us what journaling is all about.

These journals will arrive at Soolip on October 1, but in truth, their journey begins here in India, a land rich in color and spirit like the journals!

Pre-orders open July 25 with an exclusive offering for our community. It will go out to our newsletter community first.
