Our Story

I am a chiropractor who serves East Los Angeles and the surrounding communities in CA . I do spinal manipulation thru different techniques depending in the patient’s state of health to improve the health and wellness in all areas of patient's lives, whether they are having problems with back pain, mid back or neck pain, or just want to start feeling better when they wake up in the morning and/or feeling motivate for the new day. I take a "whole person" approach in chiropractic care, which means looking for the underlying causes of disease, discomfort, and pain, as opposed to just treating the symptoms. Many seemingly unrelated symptoms often arise from imbalances in the spinal column, and I will be able to determine the root of the pain and create a personalized chiropractic and wellness plan to suit each patient's individual needs. Under my supervision, care and skills, patients report higher functioning in all areas of their lives. So if you have been suffering from neck, mid back or low back pain, don't wait another second to begin your road to recovery! At our Chiropractic Centers, our chiropractic techniques can assist patients with the rediscovery of health and wellness that had been previously known but long lost. For others, the chiropractic journey may offer a new sense of balance and wellness that one has never before experienced. I am also an Ayurveda Practitioner: Ayurveda is the “knowledge of Life”. Our five senses serve as the portals between the internal and external environments, as the five great elements of ether, air, fire, water, and earth live outside around and within us. Ayurveda groups these five elements into three basic types of energy and functional principles that are present in everybody and everything. Since there are no single words in English to describe these principles; we use the Sanskrit words Vata, Pitta, and Kapha to describe their combinations.

Everything that we experience, by eating a substance, a thought, or emotion, has certain qualities such as cold, heavy etc. The ancient texts of Ayurveda classify these qualities — called gunas in Sanskrit — into 10 pairs of opposites, making 20 qualities total (for example, heavy vs. light). Theoretically, everything in the universe can be described in terms of these gunas, or qualities, including the doshas. These three forces called doshas are forces that exist in all of us. The foundation of Ayurvedic treatment relies upon recognizing when gunas have become excessive or deficient in the doshas, as this is known to cause doshic imbalance and lead to disease. Ayurveda applies the opposite qualities to return to balance. The treatment is administered via herbal mixtures, Abhyanga (body oil massage), lifestyle changes in food choices.

The three doshas have a specific task: Vata is the most powerful of the doshas and posses among others the ability to get rid of the body’s waste through your intestines. Pitta controls digestion, the metabolism of the body (how well your body breaks down food and absorbs it). Kapha controls muscle tone, body strength and stability, weight, and your immune system. Chronic imbalances of doshas present as medical conditions.
