Think of your inner critic as an unloved, unhealed part of yourself. It can show up as negative self-talk, fear, self-doubt, shame, and self-sabotage. When you notice your inner critic, use this mantra: “I hear you, inner critic, but I am choosing to set a boundary.”
Ultimately, your inner critic serves as a reminder to reconnect with your highest self. For example, if your inner critic is showing up with negative self-talk around your worth, your highest self might respond with “I am worthy. I am enough.” 💗
