Meet Jessica Crussel, the powerhouse behind our administrative support and special projects.

Based in Chicago, Jessica brings a thoughtful mix of structure and heart to everything she does. As a mom herself, she approaches each task with the lived experience of parenthood ensuring that the families we serve feel understood, supported, and seen.

When she’s not streamlining processes or lending her expertise to a new initiative, Jessica is exploring a new city with her husband and toddler, curled up with a great book, or baking something delicious (dessert is her love language).

Based in Austin, TX, Suthi brings a rare blend of strategy and soul to her work, supporting both our clients and our team with thoughtfulness, efficiency, and a deep love for meaningful connection.

Whether she’s streamlining systems or helping families feel seen and supported, Suthi’s calm presence and sharp mind make a big impact behind the scenes.

Outside of work, you’ll find her paddle-boarding with her tween, nurturing her herb garden, or sewing linen pieces by hand (yes, really!).

We’re kicking off a new Meet the Team series so you can get to know the incredible people behind The Cradle Company! First up: our founder, Brandi Jordan.

Brandi has been helping families grow, adjust, and find balance for nearly two decades. She’s a Board Certified Lactation Consultant, Pediatric Sleep Specialist, Newborn Care Specialist, and Postpartum Doula. With a BA in Child Development and a Master’s in Social Work from USC (where she also taught) Brandi brings both clinical expertise and deep compassion to every family she supports.

In 2009, she founded The Cradle Company as a home for families navigating pregnancy and postpartum. She also founded the National Association of Birth Workers of Color in 2018, expanding her mission of equity and care for all.

Her approach? Gentle, grounded, and always in service of the whole family.

The early weeks after birth are raw, tender, and often overwhelming. And while the baby draws everyone’s attention, the person who just gave birth is navigating one of the most intense transitions of their life.

If you’re supporting a family during this time (professionally or personally) remember: your presence matters more than your advice.

Postpartum support isn’t about fixing.

It’s about showing up, consistently, gently, without ego or judgment.
Empathy over opinions.
Patience over pressure.
Care that centers the whole person, not just the newest one.
