Southern California University School of Oriental Medicine and Acupuncture to Celebrate 15 Years Since Founding
Los Angeles, CA – June 2, 2015 – Southern California University School of Oriental Medicine and Acupuncture is pleased to announce it will hold an open house on Tuesday, June 16, 2015 from 11:00 am to 7:00 pm in celebration of the 15th year anniversary of the school’s establishment and founding. Hourly tours of the campus will be provided with gifts to be distributed to all guests. Games and prizes will be available throughout the day. Special guests will be present, including the original founder and President Emeritus of the school, Young Hwan Cho, Ph.D., L.Ac.
Southern California University School of Oriental Medicine and Acupuncture (“SCUSOMA”) is a private higher education institution located in Los Angeles, California. SCUSOMA is licensed to operate as a school by the California Bureau of Private and Postsecondary Education and is authorized by the California Acupuncture Board. SCUSOMA is accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (“ACAOM”). ACAOM is the national accreditation agency for approval of programs preparing acupuncture and oriental medicine practitioners.
SCUSOMA offers a program that confers a Master of Science degree in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine upon successful completion of its rigorous four -year program. Graduates are competent to sit for the California Acupuncture Board examination in order to obtain licensure to practice Acupuncture in the State of California.
