👶🖐️ Hands in the mouth? Not so fast… it’s not always teething!
Around 4 months, babies discover their hands — and suddenly everything goes straight to their mouth. Drooling, chewing on knuckles, sucking on fingers… it’s all completely developmentally appropriate.
This stage is about exploration, not necessarily teeth. In fact, most babies won’t start teething for a few more months.
Good news? You don’t need to “treat” this as a problem. Offer safe, wonderful toys to chew on — or simply let baby explore with their own little hands. That’s how they learn. 💛
