Cosmetic gynecology is all about enhancing comfort, confidence, and well-being! It includes procedures like l***aplasty, va**nal rejuvenation, and tightening—tailored to your personal needs.

💡 What’s Normal? There’s a wide range of normal when it comes to appearance! Just like faces, every v***a is unique in shape, size, and color. Some common variations include:

✔️ Inner lips (l***a minora) longer than outer lips

✔️ Asymmetry (one side larger than the other)

✔️ Darker pigmentation due to hormones or aging

🚨 When to Seek Help? While variation is normal, some changes may need medical attention: ⚠️ Chronic pain or discomfort in tight clothing or during intimacy ⚠️ Frequent infections or irritation ⚠️ Sudden changes in shape, color, or texture ✨ If you’re considering cosmetic gynecology, do it for YOU! Confidence starts with feeling good in your own skin. 💕

A surprising fact after pregnancy is urinary incontinence. Urine loss after childbirth is more common than you might think, but it doesn’t have to be permanent. If you're experiencing bladder leaks postpartum, you're not alone. 25-30% of women after pregnancy have some urinary control issue.

Strengthen your pelvic floor with Kegels! I recommend Kegel exercises to improve bladder control, enhance pelvic health, and prevent prolapse.

Named after Dr. Arnold Kegel, who developed the exercise, it involves contracting and relaxing the muscles of the pelvic floor. Kegels target the muscles that support your pelvic organs, and doing them regularly can help with issues like incontinence and postpartum recovery. Whether you're dealing with pelvic pain, urinary incontinence or simply want to improve your overall pelvic health, Kegels are a simple yet effective solution.

Doing Kegels correctly is very important, so have someone with knowledge of the exercise show you how it's done.

As always, reach out with any questions 😊

Pelvic pain is not normal and may be a sign of an underlying condition:

Endometriosis occurs when tissue similar to the uterine lining grows outside the uterus, causing pain and discomfort.

Vaginismus involves involuntary muscle spasms in the va**nal walls, leading to painful in*******se.

Vulvar Vestibulitis is characterized by pain at the opening of the va**na, often during sexual activity.

Fibroids are noncancerous growths in the uterus that can cause pressure and pain.

Pudendal Neuralgia is inflammation or entrapment of the pudendal nerve resulting in pain, burning, or pressure in the path of the nerve.

Vaginal prolapse happens when pelvic organs shift out of place, causing discomfort and pressure.

A short perineum can lead to pelvic pain, leading to discomfort during everyday activities like sitting, exercising, or even intimacy. This often occurs when the muscles and tissue between the re**um and va**na are damaged, commonly during va**nal childbirth.

Treatment options like pelvic floor physical therapy, laser and radio frequency therapy, and surgical repair can help restore both comfort and function. Feel free to reach out to me if you are experiencing any of these symptoms.

An overactive bladder (OAB) can be frustrating, but understanding it is the first step toward finding relief. OAB is characterized by frequent urges to urinate, often with little warning, and can lead to leaks. Here’s how to manage it:

1️⃣ Track your symptoms: keep a bladder diary to note frequency and triggers. 2️⃣ Pelvic floor exercises: strengthening these muscles can help control urgency. 3️⃣ Bladder training: gradually increasing the time between bathroom trips can help retrain your bladder.

You are not alone—talk to us today to find the right approach for YOU.

Many women experience stress urinary incontinence (SUI), a common condition that leads to urine leakage. This often happens during activities like coughing, sneezing, laughing, or exercising. It’s most common after childbirth, during menopause, or as a result of aging. While it can feel embarrassing, it’s important to know that SUI is treatable. Strengthening the pelvic floor muscles through exercises like Kegels can help improve bladder control, and maintaining a healthy weight can reduce pressure on the bladder.

If you experience frequent leaks, consulting with Dr. Tahery will offer personalized treatment options and improve your quality of life.

Perineoplasty aims to restore function and improve comfort. Postpartum women may experience va**nal stretching or trauma from childbirth, which can lead to issues like pelvic floor dysfunction or discomfort during in*******se. Perineoplasty addresses these concerns by tightening the va**nal walls, offering both functional and aesthetic benefits.

While the procedure is commonly done for postpartum recovery, it can also be sought by women who experience va**nal laxity due to aging or other medical conditions. Many women report improved sexual satisfaction and restored pelvic floor function after the surgery.

As an expert in his field, this is one of the many procedures Dr. Tahery can provide. Schedule a consultation to find out more.
