🌿 Collective Care in Action

We’re proud to share a meaningful milestone at Therapeutic Play Foundation—the completion of our first Collective Care: Partner Provider Wellness Hub Training Academy

This training marks an important step in strengthening our ecosystem of care by bringing together aligned organizations committed to healing-centered, culturally responsive, and community-rooted support for children, youth, and families.

Rooted in the belief that no single organization can meet every need alone, our Collective Care model centers shared learning, relationship-building, and aligned practices to expand our collective capacity—especially during moments of crisis, transition, and growth.

During the training, partners engaged in conversations around trauma-informed practice, therapeutic play, community wellness, and collaborative approaches to care—exploring how shared values and partnership deepen impact for the families we serve.

✨ We’re excited to officially welcome our newest Collective Care partners:
• New Leaf on Life
• Dream Live Hope
• Joy Youth Services
• Culture Collective Counseling

Each partner brings unique strengths, lived experience, and a deep commitment to equity and healing. We’re honored to grow alongside organizations who believe—like we do—that wellness is relational, restorative, and rooted in community.

🚀 What’s next?
Our Collective Care Training Academy will soon be available to external partners looking to train their teams in our collective care approach.

This is just the beginning. Together, we’re building stronger bridges so families can play, heal, and thrive—together.

💛🌈 What a beautiful day of community, care, and connection! 🌈💛

We had an incredible time at our Village Wellness: Feeding the Community Resource Fair at Zion Temple Community Church! The energy, smiles, and shared moments reminded us just how powerful it is when community comes together to support one another.

Families enjoyed games, connection, and access to much-needed resources—including diapers, fresh produce, healthcare support, and more. We were honored to partner with amazing organizations like the International Institute of Los Angeles (providing Metro cards 🚇), Health Net, Measure of Hearts Organization, and so many others who showed up with heart and intention.

This event was about more than resources—it was about creating a welcoming space filled with joy, dignity, and hope. We are deeply grateful to our partners, volunteers, and every family who joined us and trusted us to be part of their day.

Thank you, Zion Temple Community Church, for opening your doors and helping us serve the community with love and purpose. 💛

Together, we nourish. Together, we play. Together, we heal.

We were honored to join Zion Community Church for their Christmas of Hope Toy Giveaway, a beautiful celebration filled with joy, generosity, and community love. 💛

Our team had an amazing time connecting with families and helping distribute hundreds of toys to children in the community. Seeing the excitement, smiles, and holiday magic on children’s faces reminded us just how powerful community care and partnership can be—especially during the holidays. 🎁✨

Beyond the toys, this event created space for laughter, connection, and togetherness, making it a truly special and memorable day for all.

We’re deeply grateful to Zion Community Church for inviting Therapeutic Play Foundation to be part of this meaningful celebration. Moments like these reflect our mission to support children and families through healing, play, and joyful connection.

Here’s to continuing to spread hope, happiness, and holiday cheer throughout our community! 🎄💫
