🌿 Collective Care in Action

We’re proud to share a meaningful milestone at Therapeutic Play Foundation—the completion of our first Collective Care: Partner Provider Wellness Hub Training Academy

This training marks an important step in strengthening our ecosystem of care by bringing together aligned organizations committed to healing-centered, culturally responsive, and community-rooted support for children, youth, and families.

Rooted in the belief that no single organization can meet every need alone, our Collective Care model centers shared learning, relationship-building, and aligned practices to expand our collective capacity—especially during moments of crisis, transition, and growth.

During the training, partners engaged in conversations around trauma-informed practice, therapeutic play, community wellness, and collaborative approaches to care—exploring how shared values and partnership deepen impact for the families we serve.

✨ We’re excited to officially welcome our newest Collective Care partners:
• New Leaf on Life
• Dream Live Hope
• Joy Youth Services
• Culture Collective Counseling

Each partner brings unique strengths, lived experience, and a deep commitment to equity and healing. We’re honored to grow alongside organizations who believe—like we do—that wellness is relational, restorative, and rooted in community.

🚀 What’s next?
Our Collective Care Training Academy will soon be available to external partners looking to train their teams in our collective care approach.

💛🌈 What a beautiful day of community, care, and connection! 🌈💛

We had an incredible time at our Village Wellness: Feeding the Community Resource Fair at Zion Temple Community Church! The energy, smiles, and shared moments reminded us just how powerful it is when community comes together to support one another.

Families enjoyed games, connection, and access to much-needed resources—including diapers, fresh produce, healthcare support, and more. We were honored to partner with amazing organizations like the International Institute of Los Angeles (providing Metro cards 🚇), Health Net, Measure of Hearts Organization, and so many others who showed up with heart and intention.

This event was about more than resources—it was about creating a welcoming space filled with joy, dignity, and hope. We are deeply grateful to our partners, volunteers, and every family who joined us and trusted us to be part of their day.

Thank you, Zion Temple Community Church, for opening your doors and helping us serve the community with love and purpose. 💛

Together, we nourish. Together, we play. Together, we heal.

We were honored to join Zion Community Church for their Christmas of Hope Toy Giveaway, a beautiful celebration filled with joy, generosity, and community love. 💛

Our team had an amazing time connecting with families and helping distribute hundreds of toys to children in the community. Seeing the excitement, smiles, and holiday magic on children’s faces reminded us just how powerful community care and partnership can be—especially during the holidays. 🎁✨

We had an absolute blast at our BEIM: Paint & Restore – Sanctuary Canvas Experience for Mothers! 🎨✨

Moms came together for a peaceful day of creativity, connection, and self-care. We followed a calming paint-along tutorial, chose our personal sanctuary words, and reflected on what we want to invite more of into our lives. It was so beautiful to watch everyone pour intention, emotion, and hope into their canvases.

We shared stories, supported one another, and explored how art can help us slow down, breathe, and reconnect with our aspirations. And yes… we enjoyed a delicious lunch together too! 🍽️❤️

Thank you to all the incredible mothers who joined us. Your openness, creativity, and energy made the space truly special. We can’t wait to create with you again!

🌟 Great news from Therapeutic Play Foundation (TPF)! 🌟

https://capathsuccess.com/tpf/

We’re thrilled to share that TPF is stepping up our mission to provide whole-person care — supporting physical, mental, and emotional health — for families in high-need areas across Los Angeles County.

Here’s what’s happening:
✅ We’re operating across Service Planning Areas 3, 5, 6 & 8, serving families facing homelessness, foster care, serious mental illness or disabilities, pregnant/new parents & more.

✅ Thanks to the California Department of Health Care Services’s PATH – Providing Access and Transforming Health initiative and the CITED funding program, we’ve built a permanent service center and a strong digital infrastructure (custom EHR, live outreach phone bank, real-time data sharing) to ensure high-quality care.

✅ We’ve expanded our community presence with monthly resource fairs (food, diapers, bus passes, Medi-Cal sign-ups) and launched school-based hubs led by Community Health Workers featuring wellness activities like art & gardening.

🧩 Why this matters
Whole-person care means we’re not just treating symptoms—we’re reducing barriers, coordinating services, and empowering communities so every family gets the support they deserve.

📣 Calling all partners & supporters!
If your CBO (community-based organization) is ready to innovate with workforce training, digital transformation, or expanding services in underserved areas—let’s connect. We’d love to share how PATH funding and technical assistance made a huge difference for us—and how it can for you too.

👉 Follow us here for more updates, stories from the field, and — importantly — how you can get involved. Together we’re building stronger, healthier communities.
