We’ve been innovative and intentional—hiring Community Health Workers, developing training programs, and creating spaces where healing looks like culture, connection, and restoration. 💫

Together, we’re reimagining what healthcare access can look like when it’s rooted in equity, compassion, and joy.

💙⚾ Big love to the LA Dodgers!

We’re honored to be chosen as a grant recipient from the 8/5 game auction. Proceeds will power our initiative — helping Los Angeles recover from environmental stressors and other challenges that impact mental health.

These funds will fuel Healing Wellness Labs and Wellness Kits, giving our community spaces and tools to connect, recharge, and recover together.

Because at TPF, we believe in Play Now. Thrive Later. Group connection isn’t just fun — it’s how we heal trauma and build a stronger, healthier LA.

106 tickets sold! A dance floor full of bodies and connection. Dozens of community partners. One unforgettable night of joy, purpose, and PLAY.

Our TPF Benefit Concert wasn’t just a show—it was a soul-filled celebration of healing, collective care, and the brilliance of collaboration!

Huge thanks to our powerhouse Board of Directors, who tapped into their relationships with artists and impact makers to bring this vision to life. This concert wouldn’t have happened without their leadership—and yes, we’re making this a recurring fundraiser! 🙌

Our young creators explored identity, resilience, and imagination through a powerful activity: Story Shields!
Each child designed a shield that reflects who they are and what keeps them strong.

🖍️ The shields expressed:
💪 Strengths – What are you proud of?
❤️ Values – What matters most to you?
🌟 Dreams – What do you hope for your future?
🛡️ Support – Who or what helps you feel safe?

As the kids created their shields, we heard about best friends, big goals, brave moments, and the people who make them feel loved. 💬 Then we came together to share our shields — because when kids feel seen and supported, they shine. 💫

We’re so proud of our young storytellers. These shields weren’t just art — they were affirmations of identity, strength, and hope. 💛

🧵✨ Legacy, Healing & Creativity in Every Stitch ✨🧵

Our Black Excellence in Motherhood group recently gathered for a powerful and beautiful activity: Legacy Tapestries — a therapeutic art experience honoring the unique journeys of Black motherhood. 💜

Using fabric, buttons, flowers, beads, and heartfelt symbolism, each mom created a tapestry to reflect her story, strength, and lineage. From the hands of mothers came healing, joy, and vibrant self-expression. 🌺🎨

This was more than just an art project — it was a space for reflection, affirmation, and connection. Thank you to all the amazing women who showed up with open hearts and shared their creativity with us. You are the legacy. 🫶🏾

Founded in 2017 and based in Los Angeles, Therapeutic Play Foundation provides culturally responsive, play-based mental health services for children and families, especially in underserved communities. Their programs use art, movement, mindfulness, and trauma-informed care to support emotional well-being.

After the LA wildfires, they offered direct mental health support to affected families and brought mobile therapy teams into neighborhoods, distributing supplies in partnership with Baby2Baby, and hosting healing events for children and parents alike.
