Experience is preferred but not required — we provide full training for the right candidates.
About the Role:
As a caregiver with Tita Homecare, you will play a vital role in supporting clients with their daily living needs, ensuring their dignity, safety, and independence. You will become part of a supportive, respectful team that values your contribution and offers growth
opportunities.
Minimum Qualifications
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• High School Diploma or GED
• Willingness to travel to client homes within designated areas
• Ability to pass a Criminal Background Check (per California regulations)
• Completion of a Biometrics and TB Test
• Proof of eligibility to work in the U.S.
Preferred but Not Required:.
• Prior caregiving experience (private home, assisted living, hospice, or home health)
• Valid California Driver’s License and reliable transportation
• Certification as a Home Care Aide (HCA) If none, we will help you to get certified
• Current CPR and First Aid certification or willing to obtain.
• Bilingual (a plus, but not required)
COVID-19 and Health Safety Compliance:
For the safety of our team and clients, Tita Homecare adheres to all federal, state, and local public health guidelines, including:
• Use of PPE and face coverings
• Daily health screenings and symptom checks
• Participation in routine COVID-19 testing (when required)
• Vaccination may be required in accordance with California Department of Public Health or client requirements
Key Responsibilities
• Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs): bathing, dressing, toileting, grooming, and mobility
• Support with meal preparation, feeding assistance, and hydration reminders
• Perform light housekeeping: laundry, dishwashing, organizing, and sanitizing living areas
• Provide companionship, emotional support, and mental stimulation
• Follow individualized care plans and respond to changing client needs
• Document services provided and report any significant observations to the care coordinator
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA policies at all times
