College of Tao

College of Tao COT is a resource for spiritual support & mentoring grounded in the Taoist principle of peace from within. Dr. Mao Shing Ni, Ph.D., O.M.D., L.Ac.

We offer certification in Meditation, T'ai Chi, Qi Gong, and Life Coaching as well as degrees up to and including a Doctorate degree. THE COLLEGE OF TAO (COT)
is a non-profit organization dedicated to disseminating the Ni family Taoist tradition of the Integral Way. This tradition includes a full range of Taoist self-cultivation movement arts (T'ai Chi, Qi gong, Dao-in and Ba Gua), energetic heali

ng arts, and meditation, as well as internal alchemy practices that are representative of the spiritual context in which Traditional Chinese Medicine was developed. Yo San Ni launched the College of Tao in China in the early twentieth century. His son, Hua-Ching Ni (who is known as Master Ni or OmNi) and his two sons, Drs. Daoshing and Mao Shing Ni, re-established the College in the United States. is president of the College and Dr. Joseph Miller, Ph.D., and associate professor at the University of California at Los Angeles, is Dean. The College of Tao office is located at Yo San University in Los Angeles, California. Its Institutes, Departments and Programs are directed by people living in locations throughout the country. College of Tao retreats and seminars are offered at Yo San University, The Wellness Living Store, The Tao of Wellness (in Los Angeles and Santa Monica,) and other locations throughout the country. The founders of The College of Tao have written many books which are available at the above-mentioned locations or online at www.taostar.com.
