Richo Akshare Parame Vyoman Yasmin Deva Adhi Vishwe Nisheduh. Translated this means, "The knowledge of the intent of Cosmic Intelligence is structured in Consciousness, within which all Devas reside." Simply put, Knowledge is structured in Consciousness. In Sanskrit the technique of Vedic Meditation is described as Nishkam Karma Yoga. This translates to "Unity through action hardly done." In this case hardly means "barely," referring to the emphasis we hold on favoring effortlessness. Using what is known as a Bija ("seed") Mantra, the mind is effortlessly drawn to a more subtle, more quiet state of awareness. In this state of deep restfulness the body is able to release stresses. Less stress in the body and mind means better health and greater happiness for you. Vedic meditation has been practiced in India since time immemorial. The technique has come to the west in its purest form, helping millions of people live healthier happier lives. No special skills are required. Simple, Natural, Effortless. When we meditate we are taking our attention from the gross to the subtle. The subtle becomes energized and expressly outwardly at the gross level. This is called Out Picturing. What we cultivate internally out-pictures as our life, it shows up externally 🙏🏼💗💐

At Effortless Mantra we work with clients who seek a deeper connection with the Divine, in order to be the best version of themselves. Part of that process involves connecting with the Heart, because Consciousness dwells in the cave of the heart, not up in head at the third eye (a common misunderstanding).

Developing awareness of your Atman (the soul, or our spiritual essence) through Self Recognition Meditation puts you in direct contact with Supreme Cosmic Intelligence. SRM helps you recognize you are a work of Divine architecture, and energizes your better qualities, expanding your heart, improving your quality of life.

You can begin the profound journey of Self Recognition anytime. Private or group class sessions are both available. In just a few sessions you can easily learn to become an expert meditator, and find the one true Guru… your Self 🙏🏼💗

Cognitive neuroscientist Julia Mossbridge, Ph.D., suggests that "gut feelings" or intuitive hunches may be memories from the future, challenging the linear concept of time. Her research proposes that consciousness might access future events non-locally, meaning our minds could tap into information beyond the present moment.

This idea stems from studies on precognition, where individuals predict events before they occur, often through subtle physiological responses like heart rate changes detected before stimuli appear. Mossbridge argues these responses indicate the brain may process future information, suggesting time is not strictly sequential but fluid, allowing consciousness to transcend traditional temporal boundaries.

This aligns with quantum theories where time might function non-linearly, enabling retrocausal effects—future events influencing the past. While controversial, her work points to experiments showing statistically significant precognitive effects, though skeptics attribute these to chance or bias.

If validated, this could redefine consciousness as a phenomenon interacting with time flexibly, with gut feelings acting as faint echoes of future experiences. Mossbridge’s hypothesis invites rethinking time’s nature, blending neuroscience, psychology, and physics to explore how intuition might connect us to future moments.

The Lord doesn't tell you that you do not have to think for yourself, nor that you need not use your initiative. You have to do your part. The point is, if you cut yourself off from the Source by wrong actions and desires, and by lack of faith and divine communion, then you cannot receive His all-powerful help. But if you are guided by attunement with God, He will help you to do the right thing, and to avoid mistakes. The way to start is by deep and regular morning and evening meditation. The more you meditate, the more you will realize there is Something behind the kingdom of ordinary consciousness where a great peace and happiness reign. Practice the presence of this peace and happiness, for it is the first proof of God contact. It is the conscious realization of Truth within yourself. That is what you need.

Think of it this way

Stress is the plague of the modern world. It becomes a health problem when it is persistent. Even low grade stress over time will compromise your health and vitality. You can think of stress in your body like dirt that accumulates on a window. Over time the dirt just appears, like residue of all our experiences, a natural consequence of living. It doesn't mean there is anything wrong with the glass (or with you!). Like a window with layers of dirt on it we simply want to cleanse our nervous system of all the layers of stresses that have built up over time. Vedic Meditation is a simple way to clear stress from the nervous system, creating a more healthy body and more positive mind. Think about how great a room looks after you wash the windows, and now imagine yourself with a clean nervous system, the perceptual window through which you experience absolutely everything in your life.

Vedic Meditation is not a religious practice. It does not replace or impose any religious view. It is also not a faith based practice, meaning it works whether you "believe" it will or not, doesn't matter. It is a simple mental technique that takes you into deep restfulness where your body naturally unwinds stress. It is easy to learn and very easy to do. It is a sustainable method of stress relief. No prescription needed. No harmful side effects. The benefits of daily practice are well documented and enjoyed by millions of people of all faiths and lifestyles around the world. Meditators can actually reverse their body age! Feel better. Look Better. Perform better.
