Welcome Matt McCubbin, our new SLP Clinical Fellow!

Matt McCubbin (he/him) is thrilled to be joining this amazing team, swapping his East Coast origins for some West Coast living.

He earned a MS in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Georgia State University and a BA in Fine and Performing Arts and Communication Studies from Christopher Newport University in Virginia. He joins the USC Voice Center having recently completed a full-time internship evaluating and treating voice, upper airway, and swallowing disorders at Emory Voice Center in Atlanta, GA. He brings over a decade of experience as a professional performer and educator across a variety of institutions into his work as a SLP. His research interests examine the applications and outcomes of integrating mind-body practices into clinical care.

Matt loves live entertainment of all kinds, hiking, and eating all the things (especially sweet treats). He looks forward to exploring the Los Angeles area!
