I am researching a chinese herbal formula for treating systemic lipomas, and one formula includes a reference to "Wind And Cold Grass" without the latin or pinyin names. Anybody heard of this one before that can help me with the latin or pinyin, please? I think it's 风寒草 Fēnghán cǎo but I don't know the botanical name for this herb.

Curtis Schnell directed one episode of "Crossing Jordan," on which he was production designer for every episode over its entire run. His episode was entitled "D.O.A" (Season 6 Episode 16) and featured the B-story about Howard the Magnificant and Stan. Tony Mouleart played Stan and Sean Moran played Howard the Magnificent.
I remember that he was the happiest he'd ever been in his career directing that episode, he made a point of asking advice from every department about how to get what he wanted, and he didn't sleep at all for two weeks. He said that Tony and Sean were delightful to work with.

As many of you know, I am in the process of downsizing and adjusting my lifestyle following the passing of my beloved spouse. To help with this transition, I will be holding an estate sale next weekend.

The sale will be open to the public from Saturday, September 7th, through Monday, September 9th, with hours each day from 9 AM to 2 PM. There will be a variety of items available, including many original artworks by Curtis Schnell. The estate agents, Joe and Julie of Pomelo Estate Sales, will manage everything. I am impressed by their astounding expertise and have found them very supportive during this time. Although LaFayette and I will not be present at the sale personally, I trust Joe and Julie will take excellent care of everything.

This move comes after a period of personal reflection following the passing of my spouse in 2022. As part of downsizing, I have decided to sell my home and will no longer be practicing out of my residence.

Yes, I'm OK for all my non-California family and friends. Around noon today, there was a 4.6 earthquake which felt like a large dumptruck sped over the speed bump in front of my home too fast. Dog was unnerved, but no damage and I didn't drop my sandwich or my adult libation :-) In fact, there have been 13 more earthquakes since that one at 12:20 pm and 51 in the last 24 hours. We're good.

As part of the summer purge, I'm opening old boxes of paperwork, scanning them if relevant, shredding, and discarding. Slow, tedious, and cathartic. In one of my documentation classes, a list of actual doctor's notes in patient charts. Here are a few of the
worst:
1. Re**al exam revealed a normal-sized thyroid.
2. The patient had waffles for breakfast and anorexia for lunch.
3. The patient has no past history of suicides.
