Most women I talk to aren’t starting from zero.

✅ They’re already working out
✅ They’re trying to eat “healthy”
✅ They’re putting in effort

But they still look and feel…soft 😫

That was me, too!

But the fix wasn’t eating more perfectly, or a different diet, or adding in some “superfood.” By the way, that’s not a real thing.

The secret was really just getting more intentional with what actually matters and not getting caught up in details that just complicate rather than help.

These breakfasts worked because they:
 – helped me consistently hit my protein
 – kept me full for hours
 – made it easier to stay in a calorie deficit without thinking about it all day

Nothing fancy. Nothing complicated.

Just meals I enjoyed, that I could repeat without decision fatigue.

And that helped me stay the course long enough to get my results.

Make fat loss as painless as possible.

Simple and repeatable, that’s what you want.

Nutrition has turned into something far more complicated than it needs to be.

So people end up pouring energy into details that feel productive…but don’t actually move the needle.

If your goal is weight management, performance, or improving your health, the basics aren’t optional…they’re mandatory first and foremost.

Master those, and you’ll be surprised how rare it is to need to go any deeper.

Need help putting it all together?

I’m taking on 2 new clients this month.

Most women struggle with fat loss because they don’t have the skills to HANDLE what fat loss actually requires.

The women who get results aren’t more disciplined.

They’re better at regulating themselves when things don’t go perfectly.

They don’t spiral out of control when the scale pops up.

They accept that’s part of the process.

They pay attention to their emotions and ask what they really need.

And when things inevitably go sideways, they have back-up plans to keep them headed in the right direction.

And all of that is a skill set.

Not something you’re born with.

Not something reserved for “strong” people.

Something you build.

So before you jump into your next diet, ask yourself:

Do I just have a plan…

Or do I have the skills to actually execute consistently?

Through the ups and downs.

If not, that’s where your focus needs to be.

Comment SKILLS and I’ll send you the full podcast where I break this down.

If there’s one thing we can all agree on, it’s that high achievers aren’t lazy.

That’s never the problem.

If anything, they’re doing too much, and that’s exactly what trips them up.

❌ Trying to overhaul everything
❌ Committing to extreme programs
❌ Adding more and more to their plate

I get it…but it rarely works.

Every high-achiever I’ve worked with gets better results when we simplify.

By zeroing in on the few things that actually move the needle.

✅ Less scatter
✅ Less stress
✅ Better follow-through
✅ Better results

As a Type A, more can feel like the answer.

But your energy is likely already stretched thin.

You’re likely doing too much.

So, this is your sign to do less, but better.

Fight your urge to add, and ruthlessly audit what you’re currently focusing on.

The fundamentals aren’t complicated, but most people, especially high-achievers, don’t want to accept this.

Want to know what you should be focusing on?

Message me: DO LESS, and I’ll send over my Fat Loss Foundations Guide.

Most people don’t struggle with fat loss because they don’t know WHAT to eat…

They struggle because they’re making 20+ food decisions a day.

That’s where things fall apart.

The more decisions you have to make, the more room there is for inconsistency, second-guessing, and “I’ll just wing it today.”

A simple plan with repeatable meals removes that friction.

It’s not boring, it’s effective.

Which is what you want, right?

I promise, you don’t need more variety.

You need something you can actually follow through on consistently.

If you want help figuring out what your version of this should look like, DM me “SUMMER” and I’ll point you in the right direction.

I know you think walking feels too simple.

But the average American only gets about ~3–4,000 steps per day.

That’s considered sedentary!

And only about 1 in 4 adults meet the basic guideline of 150 minutes of exercise per week.

So it’s not that people need better workouts, or even more intense workouts, although some intensity is good.

What most people need is simply MORE movement.

Period.

And let me show you how effective steps can be…

5,000 steps → ~150–250 calories burned
8,000 steps → ~240–400 calories burned
10,000 steps → ~300–500 calories burned

That adds up quickly over a week…without destroying your energy or increasing hunger.

And here’s why anyone can do it:

✔️ It’s easy (no learning curve)
✔️ It’s free
✔️ It requires zero equipment
✔️ It has low recovery demand (you can do it daily)
✔️ It doesn’t interfere with strength training
✔️ It supports fat loss without burning you out

I’ve watched clients lose 30+ pounds with walking as their primary form of movement.

Not because walking is magical, but because it’s doable and anyone can be consistent at it.

Intense exercise has its place, but for the 75% of people not even meeting minimum activity guidelines, walking is a fantastic way to improve their health and lose excess weight.

And for many midlife women, walking can be an overlooked tool for fat loss and overall health.

Who’s going for a walk this weekend?

04/03/2026

Most midlife women don’t have a willpower problem.

They have a STRATEGY problem.

For years, you could get away with:

👎🏼 Eating less
👎🏼 Doing more cardio
👎🏼 Pushing harder
👎🏼 Skipping rest

And it worked…until it didn’t.

Your body is now asking for something different.

❌ Not more restriction
❌ Not more intensity

But…

👉 More fuel
👉 More recovery

Because if you’re constantly under-fueling and under-recovering, your body is going to protect what’s most important…your survival.

That looks like:

😫 Stalled fat loss
😫 Low energy
😫 Poor workouts
😫 Increased hunger and cravings

This isn’t a discipline issue.

It’s a mismatch between what you’re doing and what your body actually needs right now.

I promise you, the change you need isn’t doing more.

I’ve done that, and it just dug me into a deeper hole.

It’s doing the right things, for your current time in life, consistently.

If this sounds familiar, it might be time to stop guessing and start using a strategy that actually works for your body.

I get it, we all want results yesterday!

I’m just as impatient as the next person.

But here’s what most people miss:

If you don’t build the habits required to maintain your results, you won’t keep them.

Period.

That means the 30-Day Challenge your local gym is hosting or the new fad diet being touted on the internet IS NOT the answer.

Because the goal isn’t just to get the dream body.

It’s to become the person who can keep it!

And that doesn’t happen overnight.

It happens through consistency.

What you need is to SLOWLY (and I can’t emphasize enough: the slower the better) become the type of person who EMBODIES the results you want.

If you are solely focused on the outcome (losing “x” amount of weight), you’re going to miss out on the real transformation that needs to happen.

And that transformation happens through daily choices, habits, and overall lifestyle.

It’s no different than the many lotto winners who end up losing everything because they don’t have the financial literacy to know what to do with all that money.

Being handed your perfect body will not solve all your problems.

In fact, I’d argue it will actually create more.

Instead, put all your energy into creating the LIFESTYLE that will CONTINUE to support your goals once you achieve them.

Because I promise you, if you turn your focus to the process, results will come.

And when they do, you’ll have the skills to keep those hard-earned results.

Then you won’t have to worry about losing everything you’ve worked so hard for.

Stay patient, my friends!

Whatever your goals, they are attainable, but most likely they need lots of time and emphasis on skills to keep those results.

It’s not a race to the finish; it’s a slow change of trajectory.

Twenty years of trial and error, so you don’t have to.

The fitness industry sold me perfection, quick fixes, and abs as the ultimate goal.

None of it worked.

And most of it made things worse.

I didn’t struggle because I wasn’t trying hard enough.

I struggled because I was focused on the wrong things.

What’s something you believed about health and fitness that has now changed?

03/29/2026

Nobody warns you that in your 40s and beyond, your biggest rival isn’t other women....

It’s your memory of the body you used to have.

You know, the one you’ve been trying to get back to for way too long.

That’s just not a game you’re gonna win.

Because your 40+ body is operating in a completely different internal environment than it was 10, 20, or even 30 years ago.

So comparing yourself to your 25-year-old body, or someone else’s, makes zero sense.

The only measurement that matters is:

Are you…

✅ Getting better over time?
✅ Getting stronger?
✅ Becoming more consistent?
✅ Finding more peace with the process?

That’s it.

That’s the game.

You vs you.

Because that’s the only thing you actually have control over.

Drop a 🙋🏻‍♀️ if you’re done with the comparison trap and ready to raise your own standard.

The health & wellness industry has gotten really good at making simple things complicated…especially for women.

Most of what’s being sold to you starts with a partial truth, but then gets wildly blown out of proportion.

And yet underneath all the protocols, programs, and fear-based marketing is a much simpler truth.

🔑 The basics still matter, and they are likely your missing piece.

This is why I ignore most of this “fluff.”

If you’re ready to cut through the noise and actually make progress, message me SUMMER and I’ll show you exactly what it would look like for you.
