Urban 728 Yoga is a hot yoga studio family owned and operated by Joe Komar (Joe K) and Stacey Scowley and is located in Los Angeles, CA. The studio is a representation of space that offers a dynamic practice led by incredible instructors for students of all levels. Explore your journey and practice in one of our four primary classes including the Urban FIT, FLOW, POWER, SCULPT, THE 90 and DETOX. Classes range from 60-90 minutes in length and we encourage you to arrive 15 minutes before your class begins. In addition to our main studio and group yoga experience, the studio offers one-one-one sessions, workshops, small groups, and meditation in our private studio.

Saturday, December 6, 12 Noon. 90 Minutes. Join our own Joe Kara for a very special 90 minute event on Dec 6 at Noon. This popular has been offered throughout Los Angeles for years, and now we’re excited that Joe will be presenting this YOGA & LIVE DRUMS event for the very 1st time at Urban 728 Yoga. In this energetic Vinyasa Yoga class, Joe will be accompanied by master percussionists Butch Norton, and Ray McNamara, who have worked with artists such as Lucinda Williams, Rufus Wainwright, Tracy Champan, and EELS; and worked on film and TV projects such as Shrek, A Bug’s Life, 300, and a multitude of other film and TV projects directed by or starring Al Pacino, Sean Penn, Rob Zombie, and a host of others.
This powerful and challenging vinyasa yoga event melds breath with physical and integrates it all with invigorating percussive rhythms that champion the unification of elevated spirit and dynamic movement.
