I treat every patient as an individual, but integrity always comes first.
Not every patient is a good candidate for plastic surgery. Whether it’s unrealistic expectations, multiple prior surgeries, significant scar tissue, or simply not enough healthy tissue to safely achieve the desired result. In those situations, operating can create more harm than good.
Sometimes the safest plan… and the best outcome… is no surgery at all.

Understanding anatomy goes far beyond memorizing a textbook.

In class, we built the nose and skull structure out of cardboard by cutting out each bone and cartilage segment, studying their angles, and assembling them piece by piece like a puzzle. Gluing everything together forced us to truly understand the directional flow of the bones, how they overlap, and how every structure supports the next.

Surgery isn’t just knowledge. It’s spatial awareness, structure, and understanding how everything fits together in three dimensions.

Dr. Honrado received his undergraduate degree from the renowned John Hopkins University. After graduating from medical school Magna Cum Laude from the State University of New York Health Science Center, Dr. Honrado went on to complete his residency in general surgery at Lenox Hill Hospital and continued his highly specialized training at the University Hospitals of Columbia and Cornell. Dr. Honrado was accepted into the prestigious fellowship sponsored by the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the University of Washington.

Dr. Honrado is a dedicated husband and father of two beautiful sons. He resides in Beverly Hills full time but also performs cosmetic surgery in Maui. His passions are his family, his patients, food, golf and windsurfing. When he is not at the practice, performing surgery, or outdoors with his family, he supports the arts and cultural activities as a valued patron of both the Beverly Hills and Maui communities.
