It's Not About The Nail
An oldie but a goodie! Sometimes we need to challenge ourselves to just hear our partner. Listening may not be as easy as it sounds, but it can allow for greater growth and understanding in both partners. Next time you want to jump to problem solving, remember, it's not about the nail.
"Don't try to fix it. I just need you to listen." Every man has heard these words. And they are the law of the land. No matter what.
