프로그램 전공의 매칭 소식이 미디어의 큰 관심을 받고 있습니다. 이웃케어클리닉은
연방정부 인증 의료기관(FQHC)이란 신뢰를 기반으로, 훈련받은 의사들이 우수 전공의
과정을 마친 뒤 우리 지역에 남아 환자를 돌보는 선순환 구조를 만들어 나갈 것이라고

Announcing Our 2026 Vanguard Leadership Award Recipient: José Hernandez.
José Hernández is a former NASA astronaut, engineer, and one of the most recognized Latino voices in science and education. The son of Mexican migrant farmworkers, Hernández spent his childhood working in California's fields and did not learn English until age 12. After applying to NASA 11 times, he was ultimately selected for the Astronaut Corps in 2004 and completed his historic spaceflight aboard Space Shuttle Discovery's STS-128 mission in 2009. His remarkable story was later brought to life in the acclaimed film A Million Miles Away.

이웃케어클리닉 버몬트 양로보건센터 생신 잔치
18일 이웃케어클리닉(Kheir Clinic, 소장 애린 박) 버몬트 양로보건센터(ADHC)에서는 3월 생일을 맞은 70~90대 시니어를 위한 생일잔치가 열렸습니다. 이날 양로보건센터 측은 생일떡 등 잔치상을 준비했고, 센터 시니어 모두 즐거운 시간을 보냈습니다. 생일을 맞은 시니어들의 생신을 진심으로 축하합니다.

MBC America aired a report titled “Kheir Clinic Reduces Healthcare Gaps,” highlighting the clinic’s public healthcare services, including Medi-Cal and Medicare.
As a broadcast network, MBC America also has about 180,000 subscribers on YouTube. The report covered Kheir Clinic’s efforts to provide essential public health services to residents in Koreatown and surrounding areas of Los Angeles, as well as its senior care programs through its Adult Day Health Care (ADHC) center.

We are honored to announce Maryam Brown as the Trailblazer Award recipient for Kheir’s 40th Anniversary Gala!
Maryam brings a rare combination of engineering expertise, legal training, and national energy policy experience to one of the country’s largest utilities. Known for her clarity, steadiness, and accessibility, she leads at the highest levels while remaining grounded in family and community. When the 2025 LA wildfires struck, she mobilized SoCalGasSoCalGas employees to volunteer on the ground alongside the YMCA to support displaced families, and has championed workforce development programs for women, veterans, and youth across Southern California.

For the communities Kheir serves, that kind of leadership, rigorous and deeply human, is exactly what this award was made to recognize.
