Last Friday, the Korean American Youth Leaders in Training (KAYLT) visited Kheir Clinic for an inside look at our day-to-day operations.

The students participated in hands-on eye exam demonstrations in our Optometry department and engaged in thoughtful Q&A sessions—showing genuine passion for healthcare and community service.

It was a pleasure to welcome the .la students, and we wish each of you the very best on your journey as future leaders!

An educated family is a life-saving family!💡💪 Thank you, American Heart Association Southern California, for teaching our families how to perform hands-only CPR on both adults and infants! From parents and grandparents to big brothers and sisters, our community came together to learn how to save a life. ❤️🏡Through CPR training, families gained the skills to act fast and with confidence when every second counts.

오늘은 제 75주년 6.25 전쟁 기념일입니다.

이웃케어클리닉의 설립자 김영옥 대령 역시 한국 전쟁의 참전용사이신데요, 그 분의 마음과 정신은 이웃케어클리닉의 각종 지역사회 서비스로 계승되고 있습니다.

앞으로도 수많은 유공자 분들의 고귀한 희생을 잊지 않고 기억하겠습니다.

Today is the 75th 6.25 Korean War memorial day.

Colonel Young-Oak Kim, the founder of Kheir Clinic, was also a proud Korean War veteran. Guided by compassion, equity, and cultural dignity, Kheir Clinic now carries forward his legacy.

We will keep on honoring and remembering the noble sacrifices of all those who served.

Hoy conmemoramos el 75.º aniversario del inicio de la Guerra de Corea, una fecha que nos invita a rendir homenaje a quienes lucharon por la paz y la libertad. Entre ellos, recordamos con orgullo al Coronel Young-Oak Kim, veterano distinguido de la guerra y fundador de la Clínica Kheir, cuya vida estuvo marcada por el servicio y el compromiso con su comunidad.
