I know, it is a surprise that I have retired. As many of you know me, I prefer you to be the center of attention and not me. I want to thank you for giving me the opportunity to not only take care of your eyes and vision needs, but to share your memories of your families, trips, and especially great places to eat these past 42 years. I have taken care of multigenerational families and seen a number of you as a teenager and now a grandparent. Wow, that really makes me feel old.

This part of my journey is winding down and I now look forward to new experiences. I will continue to travel and eat my way across this beautiful global community of ours. I will continue to vigorously exercise trying to keep healthy. I will always feel so thankful to have had this amazing opportunity.
