Dear Men..
We miss you.
Deeply.
When women gather together in circles..
we tell stories of how much we long for you. Crave you.
Pray for you to rise and meet us here.
We mourn your missing presence.
In our childhoods.
In the homes we’ve built without you.
In our beds.
We hold hands and beg God to set you free from whatever keeps you from standing at our sides.
Right here.
Here In intimacy.
In integrity.
In wholeness.
In freedom.
The places where you are caught in dishonesty..
shame..
fear..
addiction..
we grieve and rage over.
We see your pain and we see your power.
We miss you.
We love you.
We can’t wait for you to come home
For the men who have..
thank you so much.
Please call your brothers..
start men’s circles..
show them the manuals.
Tell them of what you gave up.
Of your brokenness and acceptance.
Of what it truly means to take up the mantle of protector.
Please.
There aren’t enough fathers..
resources and leaders for men to sit at the feet of.
The women have tried.
We can’t do it.
The restoration must come from within the Masculine.
The Feminine cannot mother grown men into wholeness.

Soul Sister
Noun | SOL -sis-ter

1- A female friend not related by blood who shares a bond that transcends time, space and distance.
2- A group of two or more women whose hearts and souls and joined together by the journey of past, present and future lives.
3- Two women separated at birth but brought together by fate.

Not official definitions, mind you - but isn’t it just truer than true, and didn’t you know this even before you read it?

I found myself in a longing for TheGypsyPriestess who moved to the other side of the world two years ago (also known as Arkansas), and whom I have missed more than losing a limb. How we found each other from across miles and time and distances, how it was so meant to be, and how even being apart could never break the bond that is what we are, which is where this work began.

(In the stars, because she has always insisted that we are, all of us, “Soul SiSTARS”)

And halfway through it, my sister Kath, who left this world too soon but is waiting for me in the heavenly abode (and sends me signs from time to time, but not nearly enough). Which linked me to PopPETography, whom I have known for over thirty years, and who lives also a world away (aka Illinois). The three of us were inseparable and once referred to by Husband as “the unholy trinity”, a term we adored, (and to his chagrin, immediately adopted).

I break thinking how I could never have known how special our magic really was, even while knowing that such bonds can never be broken.

My point though is that this portrait is more about the power and might of two women in love whose communion transcends space and time. It is alchemical and cosmic and unbreachable, and it winds its hue and shade in and through us from the knowing and experience of one another. It is the way the sun goes golden when we are together, or the way our heart pines in blue waves when we are not. It is the silvery-violet ever-swirling shades of potential, and the apricot-pink wisps of shared history and it is universal and cosmic in origin. It defines and creates who we are, and everything we have been or are yet to become.

It is our true color. And it is eternal.

“The truth is — genuine connection is ease. It is peace. When you find it, you will know. You will feel seen, you will feel like you are being mirrored back to yourself, like you are discovering the shadow of your own heart in another human being.
Slowly, through loving the right people, you will come to realize that the human beings who are meant for you in this world will not exhaust you, or hollow you out, or leave you feeling like you are hard to love.

Slowly, you will learn how to lay down your arms. How to walk away from those who will only ever love you in halves. Slowly, you will learn that you cannot love someone into loving you, or being ready, if they are not. You cannot love someone into their potential. You cannot close their hands around your heart if they are not willing to hold it themselves.

You have to let them go.
You have to focus on the people in your life who bring you back home to yourself. You have to focus on standing up for that kind of connection, on honoring that calm, because it exists. It exists.

And I hope you learn to trust that, because when you come across it, when you ultimately experience it, it feels as if you are standing at a door you finally have the keys for. You enter it with ease. There is no fumbling through your jacket pocket trying to find the right way in.

There is no desperately reaching into your bag trying to uncover the point of access. You are no longer banging your fists against the door, asking to be invited in.

You walk through. Soundlessly. Softly. Relief washes over you. You take off your shoes. You hang your coat in the closet. You put on a pot of coffee.
You’re home.

HAPPY MAGDALENE FEAST DAY!

Millions of people around the world are celebrating. Today is Mary Magdalene Feast Day. Mary Magdalene works with the energies of the Divine Feminine. Mary Magdalene is an Ascended Master helping to oversee things on a higher level. She stands with those who need warrior energy to deal with issues in their environment. She is a Priestess of the Rose. The story went much different then we have been taught. This was one of the most amazing love stories of all time. The merging of two souls into one. A mission of love and healing. Trying to change the world. Most of the true teachings were of Twin Flame Union and Ascension. Mary went and carried on teaching. She’s a symbol of the Goddess. One that faded into the background as the patriarchy reined. They replaced the Goddess with God and took control of the feminine. There is a healing taking place now for the feminine energies on the Planet. As your healing these energies within you’ll feel more and more of a call to open up to love, and to serve the light. This is a sacred time for your soul here. You may be seeing red roses this weekend. If you are take this as a special sign. Love is in the air as we are moving into the energies of the Lionsgate. It is suggested to us a million times a day that our BODIES are PROJECTS. They aren’t. Our lives are. Our spirituality is. Our relationships are. Our work is.
Stop spending all day obsessing, cursing, perfecting your body like it’s all you’ve got to offer the world. Your body is not your art, it’s your paintbrush. Whether your paintbrush is a tall paintbrush or a thin paintbrush or a stocky paintbrush or a scratched up paintbrush is completely irrelevant. What is relevant is that YOU HAVE A PAINTBRUSH which can be used to transfer your insides onto the canvas of your life — where others can see it and be inspired and comforted by it.

Your body is not your offering. It’s just a really amazing instrument which you can use to create your offering each day. Don’t curse your paintbrush. Don’t sit in a corner wishing you had a different paintbrush. You’re wasting time. You’ve got the one you got. Be grateful, because without it you’d have nothing with which to paint your life’s work. Your life’s work is the love you give and receive — and your body is the instrument you use to accept and offer love on your soul’s behalf. It’s a system.

We are encouraged to obsess over our instrument’s SHAPE — but our body’s shape has no effect on it’s ability to accept and offer love for us. Just none. Maybe we continue to obsess because as long we keep wringing our hands about our paintbrush shape, we don’t have to get to work painting our lives. Stop fretting. The truth is that all paintbrush shapes work just fine — and anybody who tells you different is trying to sell you something. Don’t buy. Just paint.

No wait — first, stop what you are doing and say THANK YOU to your body — right now. Say THANK YOU to your eyes for taking in the beauty of sunsets and storms and children blowing out birthday candles and say THANK YOU to your hands for writing love letters and opening doors and stirring soup and waving to strangers and say THANK YOU to your legs for walking you from danger to safety and climbing so many mountains for you.
Then pick up your instrument and start painting this day beautiful and bold and wild and free and YOU. Paint this day beautiful, bold, wild & free."~

ON THE ENERGIES…

A major purifying is happening right now. We just did a major clearing with that last shift. Take a moment to integrate these energies if you need it. We are still being flooded in a ton of Galactic/ Sirius Energies. July 13th is our Capricorn Full Moon. We are feeling this July Buck Moon already. This will be the brightest Super Moon of the year. It’s time to get aligned with a bigger plan right now. This Moon can help you get organized. It’s here to help us with getting back into a deeper alignment. Right now it can really help you to get into a good routine. Your daily habits become deeper patterns. We have a huge comet approaching Earth the 14th. Comet K2 will be closest to the Earth on this day, as it moves towards the Sun. I love this one because it’s so galactic. Super Blue Light. There are also ten meteor showers from the Summer Solstice til the September Equinox. These are the peaks of the July Meteor Showers. July 10th July Pegasids, July 28th Piscis Austrinids, July 28th July Gamma Draconids, July 30th Southern Delta Aquariids, and July 30th Alpha Capricornids. We can expect the Delta Aquariids to go active July 12th to August 23rd. It’s going to bring us meteor rain. That’s why they call the Full Moon this month the Thunder Moon. This rain will peak the 30th. That’s a lot of comet debris we are going to be moving through. Quite the stream of energy. That means this a major time for manifesting and magic. It’s so important that we are tapping into these energies. Expect lots of fireballs, shooting stars, and meteor showers this month. On a clear night you should be able to see the Milky Way from pretty much anywhere this month. It’s an amazing time to be connecting with the Stars.

SHE LET HERSELF GO

She let herself go, they say.

How wrong they are, how little they know.
She simply stopped fighting time,
stopped fighting nature
and ceased being a slave,
to the unreachable dictations of society,
just briefly.
She focused instead on the real things,
pressing for her attention.
She let herself in.
She let herself rest.
She let herself be.
She let herself out.
At no point did she let herself go, my friend.
Quite the opposite.
If only they could see it.

All the situations in our lives teach us exactly what we need to be learning.

Many of us long to find a spiritual teacher or guru. We may feel unsure of how to practice our spirituality without one, or we may long for someone who has attained a higher level of insight to lead the way for us. Some of us have been looking for years to no avail and feel frustrated and even lost. The good news is that the greatest teacher you could ever want is always with you -- that is your life.

The people and situations we encounter every day have much to teach us when we are open to receiving their wisdom. Often we don’t recognize our teachers because they may not look or act like our idea of a guru, yet they may embody great wisdom. In addition, some people teach us by showing us what we don’t want to do. All the situations in our lives, from the insignificant to the major, conspire to teach us exactly what we need to be learning at any given time. Patience, compassion, perseverance, honesty, letting go -- all these are covered in the classroom of the teacher that is your life.

We can help ourselves to remember this perfect teacher each day with a few simple words. Each morning we might find a moment to say, “I acknowledge and honor the teacher that is my life. May I be wise enough to recognize the teachers and lessons that I encounter today, and may I be open to receiving their wisdom.” We might also take some time each day to consider what our lives are trying to teach us at this time. A difficult phase in your relationship with your child may be teaching you to let go. The homeless person you see every day may be showing you the boundaries of your compassion and generosity. A spate of lost items may be asking you to be more present to physical reality. Trust your intuition on the nature of the lesson at hand, work at your own pace, and ask as many questions as you want.
