✨Surrogate Spotlight: Meet Emiley

What inspired you to become a surrogate?
I want to be able to help families grow! Giving what I can to bring more love into a family’s life!

What has been the most meaningful part of your surrogacy journey so far?
The most meaningful part of my journey so far has been seeing the little heartbeat fluttering, and just knowing how happy the parents will be once the little bundle of joy is here!!

What would you tell someone who’s thinking about becoming a surrogate?
I would say, make sure it’s right in your heart, that this is something you want to do. Because it’s not for the faint of heart, but if you truly want to help and you want to help make a family’s dream come true, then this is it.

What surprised you most about the process?
The medication, there’s a lot of medication.

What does being a surrogate mean to you now that you’re further along (or finished)?
Now that I’m further along, being a surrogate is deeper, more emotional. It’s no longer just about the idea of carrying a baby for someone, it’s about the realness of it. I have heard the heartbeat, seen the growth, and felt the little milestones.

How did your friends and family react when you told them?
They were all super excited and made sure it’s something I wanted to do. But in the end, they all knew my goal is to help. I have always strived to help.

Tell us a favorite memory or moment from your journey.
So far, my favorite memory is seeing the heartbeat for the first time and the little wiggle.

What would you say to your intended parents if they were reading this?
I would tell them that this little bundle of joy is protected and cared for and it’s growing strong and will be here sooner than they think!!!

Every now and then, someone reminds us why we do this work.

Ana recently gave birth through surrogacy, and watching her support a hopeful family with so much calm, love, and grace has been unforgettable.

We’re honored to name Ana our Surrogate of the Month. Thank you for your heart and for reminding all of us what it means to give with purpose.

✨ Read Ana’s words below:

“I wanted to help another family who couldn’t carry a baby of their own. Being able to do extra things with my kids because of it is a bonus.”
“When I saw the mom holding the baby for the first time. That was very special.”
“I slept so well being pregnant.”
“I’m happy they finally have the family they wanted.”

Our hearts are with everyone affected by the tragic attack at the fertility clinic in Palm Springs.

This was more than an act of violence. It was an attack on a place built for healing, hope, and new beginnings.

To the families, medical teams, and everyone touched by this loss—we see you. We grieve with you. And we are standing with you.

Fertility care is sacred work. It changes lives. And no hate will ever take that away.

With love and solidarity,

“She lent her body, not for herself,
but for the beating heart of another’s dream.”

Surrogacy is more than medical.
It’s emotional. It’s selfless. It’s sacred.

Share this if someone you love should know the heart behind surrogacy.

Building a family isn’t always a straight path. Sarah and David’s journey through infertility, egg donation, and unshakable love led them to their miracle baby, Noah. Their story is one of resilience, hope, and the incredible power of love to overcome any obstacle.

Parenthood takes many forms, but what matters most is the love that binds a family together.

With the world welcoming Pope Leo XIV, we’re reminded that legacy isn’t always passed down by blood—but by calling.

A pope steps forward, chosen to carry the spiritual lineage of millions.
A surrogate steps forward, chosen to carry the dreams of a family.
Both embody devotion. Both hold life that isn’t their own.

Inspired by this historic moment, Parham Zar reflects on the unexpected parallels between papal succession and surrogacy in his new Substack essay:
“Popes, Surrogates, and the Meaning of Legacy.”
