Since its inception, SCFHC has been in the forefront committed to addressing healthcare disparities in a competent and linguistically appropriate manner. South Central Family Health Center has more than 140 staff members of which 25 are clinical staff who provide the direct medical services, treatment and care to patients.

Celebrating Our Amazing Team During National Health Center Week! 💙 Meet Magdalena “Maggie” Lopez, a Patient Benefits Counselor on our Managed Care Team who has been with SCFHC for almost 6 years.

What motivates Maggie every day?
“Knowing I can make a difference one patient at a time, whether it is enrolling, guiding, or assisting in any way possible.”

A huge thank you to Assemblywoman Sade Elhawary (AD-57) and her team for visiting South Central Family Health Center and learning more about the impactful work we’re doing in the South Los Angeles community. The Assemblywoman was able to tour our medical center, vision center, pediatrics and dental center, and learn more about our chronic disease management and women's health initiatives. We’re incredibly grateful for the Assemblywoman’s leadership in protecting access to care. We’re excited to work together to continue championing healthcare access for all.
