Today we remember and honor Monseñor Óscar Romero.

He stood with the poor. He spoke the truth. He didn’t step back and dying fighting for human rights and social justice.

Today, our communities are struggling and in fear. There are still barriers. This is why Clínica Romero exists. This past Saturday, we didn’t just remember him, we lived it. We showed up, served, and stood with our community. That’s what his legacy looks like in action.

“There are many things that can only be seen through eyes that have cried.” That’s the kind of compassion he lived, and the kind we’re called to live out every day.

We don’t just carry his name; we live his mission. So today, be intentional. Show up for someone who needs it. Make one moment count.

Thank you to Councilmember Bob Blumenfield, who represents Council District 3, for his $10,000 community allocation in support of our Canoga Park Food Bank. His leadership helps us continue showing up for families across the San Fernando Valley, where three of our six Clínica Romero health clinics are located.

At Clínica Romero, we understand how difficult it can be to ask for help with substance use. If you’re struggling with drugs, alcohol, or concerned about your teen; you are not alone.

Our Substance Use Disorder Program (SUD)offers intensive outpatient treatment for adults and youth (ages 12–18). We also provide specialized support for pregnant women who need care during this critical time.
