1 red bell pepper, chopped
Skinless salmon with pin bones removed, chopped into Β½ inch pieces
2 (28-ounce) cans crushed tomatoes (1 drained, 1 undrained)
6 cups no-salt-added chicken broth
2 cups diced (Β½ inch) sweet potatoes
1 teaspoon onion powder
Β½ teaspoon sea salt
ΒΌ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
ΒΌ cup freshly chopped basil leaves (optional)

π In a large pot, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat until it shimmers.
