Our treatments reduce inflammation, helping you look and feel your best again. Whole Body Cryotherapy was discovered more than 35 years ago by a Japanese Rheumatoid Arthritis (RA) doctor who found that short exposure to extreme cold significantly helped many symptoms of RA. Since then hundreds of research studies have been performed showing that Whole Body Cryotherapy has a plethora of health, wellness, sports and beauty applications. Whole Body Cryotherapy has been shown to produce dramatic results in pain management, aiding in post-surgery recovery, depression therapy, anti-aging, and weight loss among others. With Whole Body Cryotherapy the body is exposed to ultra-lo temperatures (-166 F and below) for a very brief time period. The
client is placed in a cryogenic chamber for a short duration of 1.5-3 minutes which lowers the individual’s skin surface temperature significantly sends messages to the brain, which stimulates the regulatory functions of the body. Exposing the skin to these extreme temperatures also triggers the release of anti-inflammatory molecules and endorphins, increases metabolism, and boosts the immune system. Cryotherapy is a very safe, painless treatment that has been used for years on patients with chronic health issues to professional athletes trying to stay in peak performance shape.
