One to One by PCH

One to One by PCH ONEtx is an outpatient treatment facility for mental health and dual diagnosis in West LA. We have accomplished this goal. And it works brilliantly.

I established One to One Treatment in October 2009 because it was absolutely necessary. My extensive residential and outpatient experience helped form my clinical perspective regarding the strengths and challenges of the current state of dual diagnosis and mental health treatment. I am proud to have been part of the shifting tide toward more individualized and customized treatment. This shift is clearly necessary when facing the complexities of mental health disorders and our own unique stories. However, I found I could only move this tide so far when working in the traditional group-based treatment model. I discovered “the box” of traditional treatment doesn’t work for everyone. So I strived to work “out of the box” to meet the ever changing needs of our diverse population. Then I wondered, “Why does there always have to be a box?” The answer was One to One Treatment. My goal for One to One Treatment was to provide the best evidence-based practices in a truly individualized and customizable treatment plan, all while doing so in the most confidential and anonymous setting available. It works because we view every client as a unique set of strengths, challenges, and needs. We also know what a big decision it is to enter treatment, a decision that is not made lightly for many reasons. The best treatment seems to come with a premium these days. And as such, it should meet all of your needs without reservation. You should have the undivided attention of your clinical team, a feat often attempted yet never fully realized in a group-based treatment model. One to One Treatment fills this void in the Los Angeles continuum of care. None of this could be accomplished without our highly experienced and seasoned clinical team. I handpicked each individual after working with them for several years in various capacities. Some of them are former employees. Some are former colleagues and referents. All are friends and family. As such, I purposely keep our team small and focused, exactly like our program. This allows us to provide attention to detail and case management services that you cannot get at most outpatient programs. In fact, our focus rivals (and often surpasses) the clinical focus of many residential facilities. With One to One Treatment you get one of the most effective, flexible, and attentive clinical teams available.

Hey all, One to One Treatment is a big supporter of the Westmont Counseling Center in South Central Los Angeles. It is a small, mostly unknown community referred to as "A Forgotten City" in a Los Angeles Times article. The community is predominantly made up of black and brown residents who have been disproportionately affected by the COVID pandemic as well as a long history of socioeconomic strife and street violence. While the social justice movement of the past year continues moving forward, the community of Westmont often remains ignored with its own fair share of social injustice. The Westmont Counseling Center (WCC) is a small, humble operation dedicated to servicing the mental wellness of this community.

We usually don't make a "call to action" on our FB page, but we are now. The WCC needs your help desperately. WCC needs to hire more therapists to meet the demand of their ever increasing wait list. They are currently in the midst of their 2021 Fundraiser which will run through May 15th. PLEASE give anything you can to help them continue their mission of giving this community the attention it deserves as well as the chance to heal. THEY NEED YOUR HELP. Please click on the fundraiser link below (https://www.westmontcounseling.org/wcc). WCC is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization therefore all donations are tax-deductible. Thank you. 🙏🏽

We are kicking off WCC’s 2021 Fundraiser. WCC survived 2020 but faces enormous challenges and your help is critical. The fundraiser ends on May 15th so don’t delay! Your help & generosity is much appreciated!   The COVID 19 crisis and Racial/Equity strife of the last 12 months have had enormous...

UPDATE RE: ONE TO ONE TREATMENT OPERATIONS DURING COVID-19 OUTBREAK

These are uncertain times. However, one thing is certain: the Covid-19 situation is evolving rapidly and on an hourly basis, especially over the past 48 hours. Where we were once cautious and attempting to maintain as much normalcy as possible, we now see a significant local and nationwide tipping point for the social containment of the virus. These responses will affect our daily life and, I am certain, our business. It is my goal that while it may disrupt our way of doing business, it will not disrupt our ability to provide care. Our clients and patients need us more than ever now. It is our mission to continue to meet that need.

One to One Treatment has been monitoring the situation diligently through the media, local and state-wide announcements, and regular contact with other mental health professionals in the Los Angeles area. Yesterday, after much deliberation, the following response to the situation was finalized with implementation starting today:
• Starting Monday, March 16th, all intensive outpatient services will be provided to our clients virtually through telehealth software. All clients are in the process of being notified, along with applicable professionals and referents.
• This period will be for a minimum of 2-business weeks ending Friday, March 27th. At this point we will reassess the situation for a potential extension to April 10th or beyond.
• During this period our physical office will be officially closed with no staff present. All staff and therapists will be working remotely from home during normal business hours
and available as usual.
• All One to One therapists with their own private practices are being strongly urged by our Executive Director to move their practice online as well.
• At this time, One to One Treatment will continue to admit new clients to our IOP. We will only be admitting client’s that are referred by trusted mental health professionals in order to vet these clients as appropriate for a virtual, IOP level of care. We will not be admitting client’s unattached to trusted professionals to ensure clinical integrity. All new admits will be transitioned to in-office sessions when normal operations return. Telehealth will be temporary until then so all clients will be required to reside in the Los Angeles area.

These new containment efforts in our country cannot be ignored. As such, it is not time for doubt or hubris. These difficult decisions are necessary for the health and safety of our clients, staff, business, and families. It is time to work together to keep all of us safe. Thank you for your understanding and we are here to answer any additional questions or concerns. Please feel free to call our main number at 888-573-1110 or email info@ONEtx.com. We will not be utilizing Facebook comments or Messenger to answer questions or participate in discussions at this time.

I wish you and your families safety and wellness.

Best,
Ray Santamaria
Executive Director

Prince Harry is once again speaking out about mental health awareness.

“People seem ready for a different kind of conversation on mental health...everyone was tired of stigma and scare stories about mental illness.”

We are now shattering the silence that was a real barrier to progress. People are now really talking about their own well-being and how to help those around us.
