UCLA’s ISAP is partnering with Los Angeles County Department of Public Health's Substance Abuse Prevention and Control Program (SAPC) and The Pacific Southwest ATTC to host a lecture series webinar on July 18th. This event will explore the current landscape of national recovery housing and key findings from recent studies on LA Sober Living Houses. Participants will learn essential elements that make recovery housing a vital part of a comprehensive recovery-oriented system of care and discover practical ways housing supports individuals in treatment and recovery.

ISAP is proud to announce the launch of the Substance Use Prevention Evidence-Based Resource (SUPER), a web-based resource that will help advance the field of evidence-based youth substance use prevention in California! ISAP researcher Howard Padwa has developed SUPER under contract with DHCS in partnership with the Center for Applied Research Solutions (CARS) and Azusa Pacific University (Rachel Castaneda). Special shoutout to ISAP's Lincoln Bohn, Carissa Loya, Madelyn Cooper, Sherry Larkins, and Ken Booker on their hard work on this project!

The state of California annually collects survey data from consumers in publicly funded mental health clinics. In 2024, this data collection yielded 54,592 surveys from Youth, Adults, and Older Adults. Also, Families of Youth between the ages of 0-17 receiving services were surveyed.
