I am a Professor for the MFT program and the Associate Director of Community Partnerships at The Chicago School of Professional Psychology at the Los Angeles Campus. I am also a bilingual Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist currently seeing clients online and I am an AAMFT Approved Supervisor. ked with Counseling 4 Kids, The Help Group and Didi Hirsch providing quality mental health services to the low income Latino families as helping them is my inspiration to teach. My specialties include working with the Latino community in acculturation issues and communication, family therapy (Structural, Bowen and Satir), play therapy, and CBT Therapy with a Psycho dynamic View. I am accredited on a variety of modalities including EMDR Attachment Focused with the Parnell Institute. I am trained in Evidence Based Practice Models: Positive Parenting Program (Triple P, teen and standard), Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (Triple P), Managing and Adapting Practices (MAP), and Cognitive Behavioral Interventions for Trauma in School (CBITS). I am also experience with peri natal and post natal mood disorders and a big interest in mother-child and caregiver-child relational issues. My purpose creating this page is to promote the activities I am involved in through the university and the community mental health and hopefully, to have you getting involved in them as well :-)
