In private practice, Dr. Tabori combines a unique and specialized form of CBT based on Dr. William Glasser’s Choice Theory with a Family Systems approach to treatment. Dr. Tabori views maladaptive behavioral patterns as a result of inadequate or dysfunctional life choices. She assists her clients in recognizing these patterns of behavior and encourages them to draw realistic and practical solutions to the things that are hindering growth and happiness through the choices they make in life. Instead of spending countless sessions uncovering a person's past, Dr. Tabori utilizes the most salient historical events of a person's life experiences and applies them to a "here and now" problem-solving technique.
