SECTION 6. THE RATIONAL FUNCTION OF THE “DEVEILISH EVIL.”
It is necessary to sum up again the basic functions which were found by orgonomic research in the depth of man’s biophysical functioning, in order to understand fully the meaning of CHARACTER STRUCTURE. In the light of orgone biophysics, this “structure” appears as the sum total of the relationship between the orgonotic energy system and the sensory-motor system which has to perceive the plasmatic currents, to execute the energy discharges and to coordinate all energy functions into an orderly, total, unitary functional system: “orgonotic system.”
In the schizophrenic process, the system of perception is flooded by high-pitched bio-physical sensations which are not integrated into the total biosystem and, therefore, lead a separate existence, as it were. THIS CONSTITUTES THE “SPLIT OF PERSONALITY.” The biosystem has a very low tolerance for sudden increases of the emotional, i.e. bioenergetic level of functioning.
Disorientation, hallucinations, speech deterioration and murderous impulses are likely to appear with a sudden increase in energy level if the tolerance is low. This has nothing to do with “psychology”. The “psychology” of the schizophrenic is a result and not a cause of the process. When the perception is split off from the bio-energetic excitation, the bodily experiences are experienced as : “foreign,” as “evil,” “devilish” influences by “supernatural powers” (“supernatural” in the sense of “beyond” one’s own self).
In this harrowing confusion, the biosystem develops destructive impulses to protect itself against the Devil. It is, in fact, the remainder of a sane personality which does the fighting against the Devil.
My guess of the Homeless population is comprised of various degrees of people with Schizophrenia. According to Homeless populations: 78% have drug problems, 70% can't afford housing, 62% lack mental health, 62% loss of income...And there are many Schizophrenics that do not have money problems and are functioning in the world that are considered a little strange!
