Ever wonder why old photos of Black Americans rarely show intricate braids? Unlike today’s styles, like Alicia Keys or Fulani-inspired braids, historic images show simpler looks — if any braids at all.
Was it conformity? Shame? Or something deeper about cultural loss during enslavement? Some grandmothers didn’t even know how to braid the African way — not until later, with more African influence.
So I have to ask: Where are the photos? If you know, drop them in the comments. Let’s uncover this history together!

Did you know American Indians were once the tallest people on Earth? With some chiefs standing nearly 7 feet tall, this legacy of height lives on today — especially in Black American communities. Genetic testing backs it up: the average Black American man is taller than both West Africans and Europeans.
So the next time you see those record-breaking athletes, remember — there’s more to the story than they teach in school. Watch and learn how our ancestors left more than just a legacy — they left a height advantage.

When a Puerto Rican says they’re Puerto Rican, no one questions it. But when a Black American says we’ve been here for generations? Suddenly, it’s: "But where in Africa?" I’ve done the DNA test. 8% Ghanaian. But where’s my family? Where’s my hometown? The truth is — we’ve been in America for hundreds, even thousands of years. It’s time to stop questioning Black American identity. We are enough. Period.

Did you know some of the earliest Jewish American families were plantation owners and power players in the Confederacy? From David Levy’s thousand-enslaved plantation in Florida, to Judah Benjamin — the "brains of the Confederacy" — and the Nunez, Cardozo, and Mendez families shaping courts, banks, and even connected to Paul Robeson’s family… this history runs deep. If you’re a Black American seeing Jewish surnames in your family tree (like Michelle Obama’s great-grandmother or Tracy Morgan), this might explain why.

Before Oklahoma became a state, Creek Negroes owned millions of acres and were worth over $1 billion in land today. But white lawmakers feared the power of Black and Native unions — so they rewrote laws, kidnapped families, and even voided marriages to steal it all. This isn’t speculation — it’s documented history, and yet people act like it never happened.
Tap in to uncover the buried truth about Oklahoma, the Creek Nation, and how Black and Native families were robbed of their legacy.

My family didn’t just choose English — they were forced into it. From African ancestors to my grandmother from Mobile, Alabama, speaking French Creole or Native tongues meant punishment, fines, or worse.
American Indians weren’t even seen as "real people," and languages like Nottoway faded as children were stolen, lands were seized, and they were racialized as "Black."
So before you judge Black Americans for speaking only English, ask yourself: Who took our languages away?
Watch and learn the truth they never taught us.

Before skyscrapers and Broadway lights, New York was known as the land of the Blacks. From African and Indigenous communities living side by side, to Broadway built on an ancient Native trail, this city’s history runs way deeper than you think.
Did you know Native Americans were the first to be enslaved by the Dutch before Africans arrived? Or that they led escape routes using hidden trails? They don’t teach this in school — but we got you. Watch and expand your mind before they expunge you!

Chrissy Teigen thought she was Jewish — but DNA said 0%. Then, a shocking twist: she’s 1% Roma (once called "gypsy"), and Henry Louis Gates traced it even deeper using records, not just DNA. Here’s the lesson: even the smallest percentage matters when it comes to identity and ancestry.
So when people claim Black Americans have no connection to American Indians, ask yourself — what’s the real agenda? Watch for the full breakdown!

Some folks really believe Black Americans don’t have Native American ancestry. But the DNA doesn’t lie: 1%, 20% — it’s there. From my own family to the Montauk tribe in Long Island, the connections run deep. And let’s not forget the Mayan slave ship history they never talk about.
I’m using reputable sources — stop acting like the truth isn’t in front of you. Tap in and see the receipts for yourself!
