On becoming a foster parent for an animal:
Reputable rescues in SoCal are always looking for committed fosters. They will pay for everything from the dog bed to the food to the veterinary care. All you do is provide a loving temporary home.
You (or your friends) will be expected to fill out a foster application and have a house and backyard check (sometimes this is done by FaceTime ever since the pandemic but every rescue is different).
Please consider fostering (Jack and I cannot do that anymore because of our special-needs dogs) and reach out to your friends and other social media platforms to find local fosters please.
If you can foster or find someone who will locally foster please have them put their offer right here in the main comments with their location so rescues can see it.
