4 things you need to know before applying for IHSS

1. Read and understand your documents such as your IEP, IPP for your child and doctor reports for adults

2. Be the expert dont' assume that the caseworker knows all the regulations(laws).
You need to do your research.

3. Be aware that each case is unique and different.

4. Don't be afraid to ask for help from an advocate. With everycase being so different you never know wht going to run into when your trying to navigate this program.
