These days…and evenings with my childhood besties are everything. We grew up together in the suburbs of Chicago and somehow all landed in LA — truly the biggest gift. We try to meet up each month, and it turns out it’s not just good for the soul… it’s good for our health too.
Studies show that strong friendships — especially among women — boost oxytocin and serotonin, lower stress, improve heart health, and even increase longevity. People with close social ties have up to a 50% lower risk of early mortality, and women who regularly spend time with their girlfriends report significantly better mental and emotional well-being.
So here’s to showing up for each other, month after month… it’s healing us in more ways than we know. 🩷A special shout out to A Votre Sante for always hosting us. They serve the best farm to table meals.
